Although stories of successful apps were extremely oversimplified, there were some interesting ideas worth to think about. When entering a market, you either need a product that way more better than all exiting ones or you need something completely new. From myself I may add, that you also need to ensure that some big tech giant will not steal your idea, and will not implement it, due to its unlimited resources, in a better way, taking all your users away.

no it depends on where you live. Many different cultures in the US. I live in Northern Virginia which is close to DC, and is very wealthy. The high school i went to had students whos parents average income was $330,000. Pretty diverse with asians and whites, very friendly community. Everyone worked hard, and there was very little crime. Most of us are still patriotic, but there are always haters out there wanting to bring down whoever is at the top

1:18 John D Rockefeller actually died May 23, 1937. His peak net worth was $400B in 1913, in 2017 inflation-adjusted dollars according to Wikipedia. Perhaps one reason we'll never see anyone as rich as Rockefeller, is the US government did not collect income taxes until 1913, long after Rockefeller had made much of his money. When he died, his tangible net worth is estimated to have been $26M, he had given the vast bulk of his earnings to philanthropy.

Actually, it's not. It depends on wether you take the full amount of his wealth or the adjusted amount. If we're talking about the actual amount, then it's Rockefeller ($300+ Billion). If we consider the adjusted amount due to inflation, it's Mansa Musa.

People.... Tedx is independently organised by local communities. Of course video and audio quality is going to vary GREATLY depending on the location. I would almost guarantee that the team capturing the event is volunteer and therefore most likely fairly untrained. 99% of the time people only care that you have touched a camera or microphone at least once in your life for them to ask you to video/record events for them. "Billy has a camera, why can't he just film it for us?" Because Billy is 10 and hasn't had the necessary experience to do a good job. Its the same with many professional industries, money saved > quality. Trained, professional technicians would cost additional money, most of which is likely being used to primarily account for the speaker. I am also confounded by how important stereo sound is to people. This isn't a feature film with a dynamic range of frequencies and beautifully mixed dialog and score, its a Tedx talk. If you don't have the mental capacities to handle a mono signal why are you even watching (supposedly highly intellectual) videos like Ted talks??

End up twitter copied my idea came out with the same idea limit to certain characters for each tweet. Its all about marketing if you are rich.
