Blocker served 32 years as an intelligence officer in the Air Force and the Central Intelligence Agency. Darrell received the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal upon retirement and was recognized as the most senior black officer in the CIA’s Directorate of Operations. Darrell now serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the boutique strategic risk and crisis management, intelligence, and security advisory firm MOSAIC. In addition, he creates espionage-themed content in Hollywood and volunteers with nonprofits dedicated to improving the future of youth in foster care and countering the exploitation and human trafficking of youth and women. Beautiful, thank you for sharing this. Whenever someone is rude to me, I treat them extra kindly, because they need it and 99.9 % of the time, the kindness is reciprocated.

Your talk is powerful and authentic just as you recommend. I use these techniques for a national company and a virtual rule daily. While my position is technical helping people with matters they generally are not go well-versed with, I find that empathy, genuine concern and attentive listening unlock remarkable opportunities for contact, progress at solutions. Your comment about the direction of our national discourse is spot on. Most misunderstand kindness for weakness. Reality is that it is just the opposite it takes courage to promote. Thank you for this talk.

Kindness would have been not invading and ruining millions of lives in multiple countries for a purpose as little as financial control and resource monopolies.
