Bravo 👏🏼 @Catherine for your presentation dear., yet in my opinion, WE are Not D Same individually. 1st Some pple will spite at U or even frown when u Smile at them, some will totally decide to go opposite just Nevis they are wired that Way. U making an excuse for yr husbands inability to have communicated his concern in a more gentle ñ verbal way rather than a smack ñ also communicating certain morales to a certain demographic may turn out to be a new schooling on yr Psyche altogether Nevis of Cultural beliefs but A BIG tHANKS to U for I did Learn somethings from yr Talk maam

We must be aware of the unconscious, that which is outside our consciousness because unconscious thoughts emotions behaviors attitudes biases inclinations cause us to trip. We can be mindful only when we are conscious of the unconscious, that which is outside of our consciousness, all that is automatic and conditioned like our reflex actions anger and our very nature... Once we become conscious of the unconscious we can become mindful and conscious and aware.. And live deliberately.. Consciously.. Mindfully.. With awareness and translate that into conscious communication

Sorry I didn’t exactly get what she wanted to tell me because of my English, Could anyone tell me the main point of this Ted talk briefly if it’s possible 🙏 As far as I know, before taking action, people might as well think second thoughts so that we can take away the miscommunication
@catherinemolloy1
@catherinemolloy1 Жыл бұрын
Hello 👋 we react before we speak ... if we think about the action we just did ...eg the talk and me leaning back ... then used our words to match eg. Do you need to change lanes? ...Then you would decrease the amt of miscommunication you have in life. You see what we think isn't always right ! We need to be more conscious in the present . 🎁

@@kazukisaita8111 miscommunication is the number one biggest problem in all businesses and housholds today . Yet the solution is simple. We need to be present /conscious of our actions and think about our responses in the moment. Thank you for your response:)

@@catherinemolloy1 thank you for this video, conscious communication. How do I practice this? Should I prepare myself before hand? Or just before doing any action, think. How to put this into practice daily? 13:53

Yes, it's about being present and conscious of our thoughts, which domino into actions and words. Sometimes, we need to explain our actions so as to not confuse the other person !

Interesting isn't it ... One part of our commuication is just being aware of our micro expressions, and what we are thinking to help avoid miscommunication , however, you may find writing it out first will help you when delivering what it is you want to say. x

Interesting point. Everyone has energy language, and not a lot of people tune into it. As an expert in the field, I read this well. Communication is the number one biggest problem on the planet. So I took this small example to show you how quickly you miscommunicate through making up incorrect stories for each other. If you can take that away maybe you can make a difference with your family friends and teams. 45% of marriages end in divorce 90% of these are registered due to miscommunication.

Now you know why there is so much miscommunication people react in a nano second before they consciously think. That is the point of this. To stop and bring more consciousness to your life. Communication is the key to business and life successes and failures!
