Mad respect. Are my first words to describe this talk. 1. Because he deserves it for the way he has served others. 2. Because this talk was awesome. I think this is a message we need to hear more as leaders. It takes courage to serve and impact the lives of others. Sacrificial, servanthood leadership is the kind that really matters.

Thank you for sharing this story! For many, it is often easier to write a check as a form of "service". While funding and donations are critical to the success of any service-based organization, its the people that dedicate themselves to hands-on service that drive progress and improvement. Thank you for your sacrifices of career opportunities, time with family and those 40 pounds to get boots on the ground and serve. Inspiring! Bravo.

Fantastic lessons from a life of service. Courage to pursue the selfless service of others ultimately gives oneself fulfillment that cannot be achieved without it. Sincere service and living in accordance with and pursuit of one’s values uplifts all. Thank you for the lesson, Edward.
