Language can be a limiting factor for non-english-speaking scientific communities, especially in the field of rocket science. Take it from Boeing and NASA propulsion engineer - Diana Alsindy - as she sheds light on the unseen limiting factors that played in her life as a first-generation Arabic immigrant. Diana Alsindy is a propulsion engineer and the founder of @TheArabianStargazer,
a bilingual educational platform. She is responsible for designing, testing, and analyzing propulsion systems on liquid propellant rockets.
As an Iraqi immigrant, Alsindy is passionate about science accessibility and communications. She wants to ensure space and STEM are open for everyone. I don't get why she's giving this call to action in English to an American audience. If a language lacks proper scientific terms it's up to the speakers of that language to fix that. It's also nothing new that languages differ in where they draw distinctions. Some languages consider green and blue to be shades of the same color. English has "uncle", but Chinese has multiple words for this familial relation depending on whether the man is older or younger than your mom or dad and what side of the family he's on. Finnish doesn't have gendered pronouns.

Thank you for your question! Because if we want to make a change, we have to share it with everyone, especially a powerful country like America. A lot of our scientific publishing processes, education curriculums, schools and academies are based on English-models. If we don't spread this topic in English (and in Arabic later on), then it will be extra difficult to make a change. The call of action here is to provide accessibility to other nations to access our scientific discoveries.

You are pretty and smart however you did not convince me linguistically the difference between rockets and missiles. Rockets are used to propel missiles. Rockets were used to bomb Baghdad alameria shelter.
