Absolutely love your personal approach to your talk, your humor (carob isn’t chocolate) and (proximity to food) haha, your challenge to the audience & listeners and most of all your quote of, When you lose your superpower, you get the opportunity to find your true power. Going through a situation like that right now....true power is the season I’m in. Grateful. Going to share on my social.

Serinda / Jenny Cooper speaking to me. I have had a really really short pixie cut in my teens, and I absolutely loved it. I'm quite afraid to try it now twenty years later, but man.... Serinda's speech is making me feel otherwise. I LOVE HER!!!

I’m getting ready to shave my head for St. Baldricks. I have had my hair short for years and for the most part I get one of two reactions. You’re so brave, I could never pull that off. Or wow, that looks really nice on you! I love my hair. It’s the curly that has its own mind but it’s me. I am nervous about what people might think or say but I have wanted to do it and I am doing it for a good cause. Besides, hair grows in my case.

People loved my long brunette hair with green tips, but I was tired of trying to look cool and be annoyed by my long hair and upkeep. So shaved hair yesterday and I feel free. Hope I can keep up the confidence when out in public because I've shaved my hair years ago and people were kind of judgey. Someone called me a drug addict, but when I was a drug addict I had long hair actually haha i feel stronger this time.

I live she is so alert now! Sounds like she has been through so much. When I met her she was probably the worst version of herself, I was ALSO the worst version of me too. This Ted talk made me tear up, she was trying to please till one day she said, enough! Serinda found herself. Omg, Serinda is so funny! I didn’t know she could be this funny!

I did years ago, and it was not a prank. The thing is shaving my head did not help me to define myself in me. Its only for my visibility which had been assessed that times. My questions to you Serinda is what is that changes you to be better human every day? What are those tiny deeds you do to make yourself beautiful from the inside out to the other people? Is it really defined by the look of your head / hair so much? Is it the truth of visibility?

I shaved my hair off for the 4th time in my life yesterday, my gf dislikes it because I already knew she thought women with shaved hair look like men and I'm supposed to be the "femme" one, but hey I'd prefer if she had short hair, she'd prefer if I'd have long hair, we're even haha I love my shaved hair and I'm still so beautiful.
