I'm a public health instructor and I was looking for a video related to substance abuse to show my students and hopefully spark an engaging conversation...found it!

Excellent presentation🙌🏾 I can relate to the picture you painted when arrival to the prison, I too work in the women prison for a year as a substance abuse counselor and I would get the same comments. For me this job was life changing for me. I agree that we need to do more with providing more resources within our community to stop these repeated crimes. There is a high need for this. My background is substance abuse/mental health working with young adults and older adults. I will definitely look up your info. Thank you for making a difference, many forget about these individuals once they are locked up. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance and an opportunity to get well and live a successful and sober life🙌🏾😊

I am using this on my fb business page. I am trying to educate the community about how they can help people battling the disease of addiction.

Alcoholism is often not just a problem of one person, but the result of a multigenerational pattern of addiction and psychological abuse handed down from one generation to the next. Of course, this pattern has to yearn through several generations and family members before even one of them can break free.
