Most people are way sensitive to almost everything. Feeling not good enough is like a plague that eats you up from within. Sense of self-worth is tremendously important and the way to retain the element of Self-worth is to realise you had better to quit comparing yourself with those around you; to admit you do not have to pretend to be someone you're not. We have no Idea how powerful and strong we can feel once we cease to follow in the footsteps of those who we mistakenly consider perfect. It equips us with extremely positive energy to see and acquiesce ourselves for who we're.

GREAT REALIZATION, you reclaimed what you always were, but now you know it! "Making mistakes, is intelligence having fun, in the process of realization." ~Christopher Arthur Minor. Without realizing what we are not, we can not know what we are. Using drugs or alcohol is only a symptom. Finding out why we started using is so important, Mine was a lack of being connected and I would say the majority of could say the same thing. I have also learned that there is a lot of power in forgiveness "Complete Forgiveness" that means no more I forgive you but I won't forget. Again total forgiveness. But forgiving myself was so much harder, My forgiveness came though helping others and working on myself to be the person I wanted to be. And I will never allow myself to quit growing as a person .

"Forgiveness, trust, and acceptance" A great life story. We all have something to share. Our stories are lessons for ourselves and others; thus, we all should share our stories. The other thing is to practice forgiveness we have to practice forget. Every and each one makes mistakes. We make mistakes because of emotion or bad spirits or whatever. So, We should not punish the person; we should not see criminals. Thank you!

I went through an identity crisis at 17. This is normal. We all want to fit in at that age. I did not take drugs, I went to a therapist and she helped me. Hopefully people will ask for help when they get into a bad situation. But culturally speaking, American society doesn't help people as much as it should. Anyway, glad you are still with us in this human world. AND GOOD LUCK to everyone who gets into a bad situation.

Tnx to the blessing of the social web we no longer have to physically look for a recovery but instead we can now watch from a far on someone with similar thoughts, we can see our actions with in there story, I too share a struggle of not feeling enough, now I can face certain struggles by letting go certain things in my life that helped me fight certain obstacles once again to gain control of my life, it's still hard to face things but I know I am not alone and that were stronger then what we believe is impossible can be made possible by faith we trust.

It is through our authentic openness of our hearts, that we find ourselves in each other. Without our hearts directing our lives, we are just conceptual human beings in a carbon based organic computer called the human mind. This is why we have no humanity as a culture, the whole culture is based on concepts, not living breathing human beings, in a magical whole of living beings.

Well done. I suggest for about a year, she goes and does something compelling that has nothing to do with drug recovery, something she might have learned and got good at if she had never had a drug issue. We can be addicted to being concerned with the whole problem. That's how we know we are really free.

So well done, Nadine! It really surprised me to hear the two extremes together...of how well you were doing in school and how awful you were feeling inside. It goes to show how you we never know how another person is feeling judging from the outside. Sometimes I see people who seem so 'together' and I make the assumption that their life is easier than mine. Trying not to do that anymore. Thank you for your sharing. I have no doubt whatsoever that you are making others' journeys easier, and helping them find a path to a fulfilling life.

I am changing my mind set I felt every thing you said it s like God talking to me just yesterday I made up my mind to change myself and no one is going to do it for me , I don’t have anyone to turn up to with my problems but I have God’s support which I believe is enough to save me from all those mental traumas and old believe I made a decision with myself once I will be able recover fully and ch age my mind set and not let any of those haunting thoughts come near me , I will would definitely want to share my story to help others I would definitely want to be a part of risemovement and Ted talk Amen 🙏🏾

"Tonight, I want you to forget all your insecurities. I want you to reject anyone or anything that's ever made you feel like you don't belong or don't fit in or made you feel like you're not good enough or pretty enough or thin enough or can't sing well enough or dance well enough or write a song well enough or like you'll never win a Grammy or you'll never sell out Madison Square Garden, you just remember that you're a goddamn superstar and you were born this way!" - Lady Gaga
