Hopefully your parents will truly listen to you and actually help end your nightmare reality. They can start by: Putting you in another school IN A PLACE WHERE OTHER PEOPLE LOOK LIKE YOU AND SHARE YOUR CULTURE! I've never understood why anyone would ever force their children to "STRUGGLE" through racism. Especially in America!!! Maybe moving to a better state for your religion or ethnicity would be better. You should talk to them and let them know "WE DON'T HAVE TO STRUGGLE LIKE THIS! There is a world of countries that offer a better life for us." It's not hard to just do it, sell everything, Get Out!, Live Free, & FINALLY BE HAPPY. If they refuse to be free, K-12 homeschooling will make things a little bit easier. Sorry your suffering kid. Being peaceful, hanging with a good group of friends, telling guidance counselor, martial arts, & Prayer helps too. Good luck to you.

The reality is that we "don't have the luxury of being angry," and it's not that we shouldn't push back but that we shouldn't want to push back. Why? Here's an analogical question for you: Why in the world would you want to provoke a psychopath in the moment you're confronted by one? It's a waste of your time, and there's a high chance that it'll be a waste of your precious life too. I feel so sad to hear these real stories. As an Asian in US, I have been encountering racism all the time, even though it’s 2024. I sometimes feel that there would be no changes in the world, however I still want to fight!

Love the speech. It deserves a lot more views for sure! The weird thing is, from an evolutionary viewpoint, the whole term "racism" doesn't make any sense. There are no "races" among humans. We are all just one race. One race, with different skin colors. There's not 1% difference in our DNA. It's all just a social concept. Old thinking. We need to get rid of it. There's no room for it in modern society. Sadly, that's not the case. Racism is on the rise in my country. The nationalist political party in my country, is on the rise. It's down right scary to see people being so biased. Ignorance at it's best...

Hate to break it to you dear Jim, but there’s absolutely nothing you can do to eradicate the hatred that others have in their hearts. Only they themselves can do that. It’s a horrible feeling of helplessness and hopelessness that envelops. No matter how nice you are or how compliant there’ll always be another excuse for them to treat you/us badly.

Every learning and values starts at home, teach your children to be a descent individual at home and within the community, no matter what your color is people will respect you, and that will be the start of change of racism.

I echo Kay Steele, 5+ years on and it seems daily now. And people complain about the "lawless" protesters. There is good reason for that rage.
