@@kellyvasquez1363 wellz, Kelly, you have to remind yourself today’s hardened, tough appearing, inked up convicts often went in the same way as this man: young and still wet behind the ears with a baby face. I’m stunned that a Minnesota judge sentenced him to any jail time. My state is plagued with DAs and judges that think giving criminals a cookie and a hug, then sending them along to wreak havoc is how we keep order in modern society. These DAs and judges are as dangerous as the criminals they let loose on the public.

Without plea deals the justice system would grind to a halt. Trials are very expensive and no guarantee that the State would get a first-degree conviction. Many times I will immediately stop watching a Utube channel if the commentator feels they need to talk through everything or stop the video over and over because they need to hear the sound of their own voice. You sir are not like that at all. You give enough info at the start of your videos to give context and then you allow your viewer to watch and listen to the subject and then when finished you then give your opinion and commentary. Can't tell you how cool and refreshing that is. Each time I watch your channel I'm absolutely interested to hear what you have to say or in many cases educate at the end of the video you have presented. I commend you on how you roll and how you talk about the subject at hand. So many times I have lost interest almost immediately because the commentator seems to have a need to talk endlessly. I applaud you and your intelligence and thank you for how you present your videos. Well done sir. I will definitely keep watching your channel as I know each time I do it will be worth my time as well.

I retired at 48 years; so that’s not that old. You take a life, you should give a life. If you don’t want to die yourself, don’t kill someone else. God bless the family who lost a loved one. God bless this child who took a life. He does not even understand the gravity of the situation he caused. I don’t want to take care of a cold blooded killer for 30years; he’s going to come out of prison without a way to support himself and end up back in the criminal justice system. He already does not value life; that’s not going to change in prison. The whole process makes no sense. The ridiculousness of it all.

When someone is found guilty of a crime and is sentenced to death or life in prison I would like to see the following happen: The prisoner is placed in a prefab, 10' by 10' cell. The cell is placed on a truck and transported to a site where there is existing plumbing and electric ready to be connected. The prisoner is allowed one book. They eat two meals a day, in their cells. They are allowed a radio, but no tv. They do not have access to a library, a gym, or any kind of education. They are allowed no visitors. They do not send or receive mail. To the outside world they cease to exist. The guards do not speak to them. The next prisoner is brought to the same site and his or her cell is attached to any existing cells.

I hate to disagree but solitary confinement is cruel and inhuman. I don’t believe in the death penalty either. Ethically and morally murder by a person and murder by the state is still murder. Let him spend life in prison, he’ll have lots of time to think about what he did. Ok, I have a feeling I’m in the minority, so let the comments begin.

Yeah, I fully understand that the brain doesn’t fully develop until 25, and I do believe in second chances for lots of things. I mean, I was a completely different person at 18 than who I was at 25, I was a lot more impulsive and likely to make dumber decisions, however I still knew the difference between right and wrong! This whole “oh I was only 16-19 and so I didn’t know that murder was bad” excuse that I’m seeing in the courtroom a lot recently is alarming. It’s not like their victim is ever coming home! On top of that, they had zero regard for all the regular civilians who were just doing their shopping. All that were involved in that 1st degree M, should be give life without parole.
