@@Texan_Patriot yes, exactly my point, like I said, the car is built to loose the engine with a head on collision. The engine sepersti9n was not unexpected. The idea is that the compartment that holds the occupants will ride on top of the engine, which increases the time it takes to bring the passenger to a stop. It shouldn't take a large large amount of force to release the engine. I saw one car, that within 300 feet the car accelerated, crashed, body split in two, along with the removal of the engine.. With access to more and more dangerous stuff. Technology constantly changes, as do people and crime. It's time for justice to evolve and change as well. Sometimes judges aren't the problem. I don't mean this to reflect on you, it's our justice system that is in the wrong. Why do they think 15yrs is a life sentence. A life sentence should be until the person dies in prison.

I work with kids with psychiatric and behavioral problems, and I tell them this all the time. You are the combination of the 5 people you spend the most time with, and associating with shitty people is an easy way for people to see you the same way. I'm from Texas, so I always refer people to Kenneth Foster, who was in the car when his friend shot and killed Michael LaHood, and will spend the rest of his life in prison. Kenneth was convicted under the Law of Parties, and was almost executed on death row before the governor commuted his sentence just SIX HOURS before his execution.

Milwaukee. They handle crime differently. For example, if minors repeatedly steal cars to joyride or steal catalytic converters, the courts will keep releasing them. They are extremely soft on juvenile offenders. Also, cops can't chase cars in the city if the suspect is driving dangerously. So what do criminals do so cops stop following? Drive recklessly, like going into the other lane of traffic or drive on the sidewalk. It's a bizarre situation. In Europe we would never let things get this bad. Some cities have been demoralized and given up when it comes to enforcing laws it seems.
