With access to more and more dangerous stuff. Technology constantly changes, as do people and crime. It's time for justice to evolve and change as well. Sometimes judges aren't the problem. Activist DA's and judges are only focused on their agenda but don't really care about the people their actions hurt. If you want less people in jail, then you need to focus on preventing them from committing jailable crimes instead of just letting them go. Once people get away with something then they just do it over and over again, and often escalate it. The family should sue the people who let this guy out and dropped charges for serious crimes if only to force them to go on record and explain themselves. I am so angry for this family and will say that they are better people than I, as I'm afraid I'd be facing charges myself.

Milwaukee. They handle crime differently. For example, if minors repeatedly steal cars to joyride or steal catalytic converters, the courts will keep releasing them. They are extremely soft on juvenile offenders. Also, cops can't chase cars in the city if the suspect is driving dangerously. So what do criminals do so cops stop following? Drive recklessly, like going into the other lane of traffic or drive on the sidewalk. It's a bizarre situation. In Europe we would never let things get this bad. As a former medic/nurse, I need to let people know that if you are talking/yelling you are fully capable of breathing. Here in Alabama one of friends lost her daughter due to kidnap/mu**er. The man was out on bond for unaliving an elderly man. My friend had Aniah’s Law passed. It doesn’t allow anyone out on bail while they have serious charges being charged against them. Every state should have this law. It saves others lives from criminals.
