Baltimore police said two boys - one who has a criminal history - stole a car and were released on monitoring. City police said officers were called around 11:05 p.m. Saturday to the 3400 block of Piedmont Avenue in northwest Baltimore for an armed robbery call. Police said Regional Auto Theft Task Force officers, aided by the city and Baltimore County police helicopters, found a stolen vehicle and apprehended a 12-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy, who tried to flee. Police said both juveniles were taken to the Juvenile Justice Center but were released on monitoring.
