Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an American animated television series produced by the studio Murakami-Wolf-Swenson and the French company IDDH. The pilot was shown during the week of December 28, 1987 in syndication as a five-part miniseries and the show began its official run on October 1, 1988.

My theory for how Hamato Yoshi got to New York from Japan without money is he had to immigrate to the US illegally due to being hunted by the Foot. Which would explain why he went directly to the sewers instead of any shelters and why couldn’t get a job because then he’d risk being found out and deported back to Japan. Edit: By the way I watched this review years ago and I still love it, but I thought I'd throw this out there in case someone hasn't already

Nahh...... what's really happening is that channel awesome need to keep uploading content on a regular basis in order to get money money money money money 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑 KZbin will only let you advertise if you have a certain amount of content regularly uploaded and of course the money comes from the adverts that we all skip but those five seconds that we can't still pay. I think it's something really harsh like 10 minutes a day of content from single channel in order to be sustainable and eligible for advertising on your videos

4:14 I don't think it works that way. At 3:12 you see splinter taking care of rats, so what the goo/chemical turned you into can't be based on what you were recently in contact with. If I had to guess, its what you had the most contact with, the turtles were mostly around that kid at 3:24, and splinter was around rats a lot because he lived in the sewers, in New York, instead of a homeless shelter.

I even had the tapes as a child. I remember the all had the same Burger King ad before the episodes started. The BK kids or whatever. Do another commercials episode with that one in it

Recently, I had a conversation with this woman who was in her early 40s who said that she used to watch this cartoon back when she was about 10 and 11 years old. She even had a crush on two of the voice actors Cam Clarke and Rob Paulsen and wrote fan letters to both of them at some point. Unfortunately, she never got responses back from either.

You've got to admit, "Ninja Video Rental," comes the closest to sounding like a real thing. Seriously, it seems like a name for a video store of nothing but Kung Fu, Ninja, and other martial arts movies. I could easily see it also selling cheaply made katanas, sai, and shuriken in the back. :P
