Notice how the right wing racist community praises you and your black community feels betrayed by you. Why do you think that is? You don't need to seek acceptance from the white community, you don't need to bow to honor the modern day "separate but equal" laws. Be truly free, and stand up for your rights as a minority. We are not treated as equals, but many people from the white community are willing to come to the negotiation table now. Now is the time to open the equality talks. Don't bow down to the racist right wing community that says "segregation today, segregation tomorrow, and segregation forever." Fight with us not against us.

@@Dud-in9iu Thank you for your honest opinion, really appreciate it. I am not seeking acceptance at all, I am proudly black and I chose not to be a victim, I respect everyone's opinion of me, and it's not about loyalty or betrayal, it's simply about being human and accepting that we do have a painful history yes, which my kids are fully aware of but I choose to acknowledge that all lives matter, infact if I had the same mentality I would be the worst racist person. My sister was murdered by her husband, raped, tortured and he cut off her head, my parents found her lifeless body..Guess what her husband is white. A lot of people would bring the race card right? My family would have hated whites right? But no, he was a sick individual and I am not going to punish the whole race for something that actually is a common thing among black couples where I am from. Not every black man is a thug or ends up in prison just like not every white person is racist. I was raised like that therefore I am raising my kids the same. I love my black community and I am proudly black. It's not about color it's about accepting that we all humans and every life matter. We might have different colors, race, culture etc but we all have red blood and we all bleed the same and we all gonna die one day. We fighting gender based violence everyday where I am from, it's not safe to be a woman, women get killed everyday by their spouses but I am not going to hate all men because of that! I choose to live in harmony and with tolerance. Yes we are different in so many ways but we all human. Is that so hard to understand? Let us not be prisoners of our past but be the victors of our future. Especially for our kids.

Edit: As people are getting me wrong, we need to have more faith in our youth to be capable of doing oral presentations. I attended high school in the late 60s, at an inner city school in the north. This was a very fractious time between the races. I had the misfortune to have just moved from Kentucky where I had probably seen 5 black people in my life. How could I be a racist? There were some young blacks who were attacking white kids to the the point that we started arming ourselves. And yet, and yet we elected a black guy as the class president. Because he was black? No. He was a genuinely a good guy and deserved that recognition. It's time to stop being racist in America. We're all just people. Don't let the haters set the agenda.

Also, I’m white and I’ve endured and forced to witness the worst of humanity. My biological mother tried abort me with a clothes hanger. She purposely broke my arm when I was extremely little. A family member molested me and my brothers. If one of us did something to upset my mother, she locked us all in our room for days with nothing to eat or drink. Fast forward a couple years, I went through the foster care system and adopted, I was bullied every day by other kids up to the end of highschool. Now some adults bully me, but it is not as bad. My grandmother, grandfather, uncle, older brother and one of my dogs all passed in the span of 2 years. A long time ago I was forced to watch someone literally be disarmed and headed. Forced to watch someone get shot. Forced to watch someone put a rifle against his own head. Saying I am privileged and have no idea how bad things are and can get because I am white or my hobbies, is offensive in itself. A lot of people (white, black, blue, orange, and even green polka dots) have seen horrible stuff. I got lucky with my adoptive parents. But that doesn’t change what I’ve seen and been through. Idc what race others are, I just hope they are doing okay. I want ALL people to be happy and to live in the same world together. This is to all those who believe the whole white privilege, critical race theory bs. It doesn’t matter the color of your skin. Anyone can be born into horrific conditions and situations, or in amazing and wealthy conditions. We don’t have a choice where, when, and how we are born. We are just born the way we are supposed to be. Don’t let anyone say differently. God bless you kid for standing up. And God bless all those who know right and are able to stand up.

I was a white child that grew up in and out of homeless shelters and battled extreme poverty. Temporary adoptions and custody battles for governmental assistance. Was treated more as a pet that people got a paycheck for. I’ve dealt with domestic violence, mental, and verbal abuse the majority of my life. To say I grew up with privilege because of my skin color just casts a shadow over the true issues in this country. I still worked hard and found my success. Now I get comments like, “I was just lucky,” “it was because of my privilege,” “it was because I had a good upbringing,” “it was because I had good parents that could afford to give me a better upbringing.” My college was paid for through a strenuous Marine Corps career. I have the certificates I have because I had to make an insane amount of sacrifices to obtain them. I put literally blood, sweat and tears into my success for you to under play my accomplishments. Anyone could have done what I did. They just didn’t have the mental fortitude to apply themselves properly then blame other people for their own downfalls.

Now hold up. That is a blanket statement there. Most people don't even care or know. If it does not effect them directly. It is not a problem to them. It is a sad fact but one that comes living in a country that preaches Freedoms and Liberties. And also, a lot of the time. Most people do not know what to do. Even if we include fear into the argument. Can't really expect someone to throw away a career over making a ractional and common sense statement. When in history has shown. Those people are the first on the chopping block. All because they are an enemy to the movement and revolution. Dying over such a petty thing, like calling out someone for making a rather racist remark. Is not something to make you a martyr. Doubly so if you are light skinned and tripling down bring a biological male. After all, the Leftist Democrat Socialist want war. They want blood. They have no idea what they are asking for. They do not really have the stomach for the real thing, but they want those "Right of Them" to make the first move. All so they can act as the Heroes of Democracy. Before those pulling the strings start taking their heads and creating something close to a Dictatorship or something on the level of some Gobalist Government. But I am getting into some conspiracy nonsense, and nonsense that you cannot simply dismiss. After all, dismissing the impossible, will only lead you to being caught off-guard when it does happen. Never discount anything. Even more so a group of insane people to not be doing something that benefits humanity.

There’s one specific student in my class who is the most disrespectful and annoying guy I’ve ever met. I really loved you card analogy. According the the cards I was dealt I shouldn’t even be here right now. I was from a neglectful home, autistic, ADHD, then was homeless from 16-23. But I played my low value cards right. I never touched drugs or booze. Kept myself clean, and took any little job I could. If I earned $1 for a hard days work, well it was $1 I didn’t have before. I finally got my education at 29, and after 7 years of busting my butt and building myself a good reputation….i work in my countries top leading preventative healthcare clinic. I work with CEO’s, executives, judges. I have a nice apartment that I can afford to rent on my own with my 2 little cats. And mentally, I’m doing ok now. I never called myself a victim. I said I was a victim of a crime, but I survived it. So I’m a survivor, not a victim in my mentality and attitude. These teachers are not teaching kids resilience, or self respect, or helping them develop their self worth. We are sending broken kids out into the world with the mindset that everyone is out to get them, and they should be given everything for free. That’s not how the world works, and we are not preparing these kids for reality. This young man though…..he’s going places.

My own pastor threw out a homeless man during service who was asking for help and I said what if that has been Jesus? Another pastor went up to a black woman who was wearing sandals, and told her to wear proper shoes in her church and cover her skanky feet. I said Is that what you would have asked Jesus because he wore sandals too? These are minor points, but predudiced comments. It's everywhere with no end in sight. Bless you and keep up the good work.

My privilege story: Bio mother gave birth to me 3 months early and passed 5 weeks after birth from stage four cancer, step mother was flirting with/got with my dad and manipulated him in his time of grief into marriage where they had my half sister, my father was accused of sexually abusing me and sent to prison when I was 8, I was sent to a mental hospital ( WillowCrest in Miami OK ) and every year till I was 13 I was sent there like clockwork so she didn’t have to “deal” with me. My older brother left at 10, I was pushed to the side, neglected, abused , never got anything new. ( legit got “Harry pottered” as I call it. Bedroom at one point was a back porch with walls that had an inch and a half gap from floor to wall. ) Everything I had was hand me downs from my sister. My clothes never fit; she was a large/ x large while I was an x small and weighed 90 pounds till 13; my benefit money the government gave me ( around $300 for food, clothing ect for me ) was used on her “real” daughter. I never saw any of it, the mental hospitals used me as an experiment to test different drugs. Was on 15 different types of medication they said I needed; I didn’t. And they gave me multiple types of mental health problems that still effect me. I no longer know if my emotions are real or a mask I put on so I can have interactions/ connections with others, I question my happiness every day and constantly doubt myself and whether I’m “good” enough, I was never taught how to be an adult, I’m extremely dependent to the point I’ll never be able to live on my own. I moved in with my traditional grandmother at 13 and was “traded” for her tv cabinet. My grandma got me off the meds yes but she’s extremely manipulative and over protective; was never allowed to have friends over. Was basically school then home, was made to do hard labour cause it “build character” and threatened so many times with being kicked out or taken back to a mental hospital as a scare tactic. Now I’m 22, married and 40 weeks pregnant. Husbands military but we still struggle with money but I’m much better now I think situation wise. I don’t know how I’m alive.

I am no christian. I fear the uprise of the far right all over the world, but what the far left/ woke is doing, its making ist WORSE! They are attacking sience, society, feeding in hate and division and are force feeding ammunition to the far rights with attacking moderate conservative views and common sense. He may be another Ben Shapiro, Thomas Sowell, Candace Owens, or Larry Elder. WE need them all.

I feel so bad for this kid. Grown ass adults are going to come down on him and he knew that going in. This is what bravery looks like folks. Take notes.

Don’t feel sorry for him.. be happy for him. He’s going places, and most likely teaching others his views.. 🙌

Why you're feeling bad for him he has white privilege. It just sounds like he's realizing his unearned privileges aren't what he thought they should be. Writing "All Lives Matter" on the Blackboard is simply a counterpunch against those who have exposed that black lives don't matter as much. He's going to be a professional golfer because he can't play baseball, football, and basketball like the black kids. It's all about jealousy.

Not everybody will do this to stand up for what’s going on- that doesn’t mean we’re not brave. It just means he IS brave and very intelligent and strong. He made a very well put together speech and hopefully it does make a difference.

Proud of this kid.. very matured more than adult in White House right now. What a shameful school.

This is one of the reasons the kids now days are terrorizing the schools. Why would anyone want to be forced to go to a place that treats you like this. Doesn’t make it ok and I hate that the teachers are catching the backlash.
