I think twilight is so popular among women because it takes you through all of the emotions that bella goes through. Reading is like living life in someone's perspective so even though twilight seems extremely shallow and "no lesson to be learned" we experience how we would feel in certain situations

It's sad that people don't realize that Twilight is actually about the effects of an sociopathic boyfriend who leads a young, naive girl into a secluded world of eternal darkness. Bella is the anti-heroin. She's so easily persuaded, just because of Edward's "beauty". I feel horrible for this generation of young girls who look up to the fantasy of "true love means doing what the boy wants". LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TO DO WHAT YOU WHAT AND BE WHO YOU ARE. Don't give up yourself for a cute guy who says he loves you. Been there, never again.
