As a Jin main, Jin is very fun and very hard to master as he requires “Controlled Aggression”. Which is why it is very satisfying when you execute His combos, punishes, and his Parry (includes d+f +1+2). My Fellow Jin players, Always remember... Power is Everything!

Hard part is how limited his moveset is on tekken 6 (psp). I mostly play 6 since its the most portable one for having fun with friends, but jins moveset is hard to get combo continuations with how his stances are limited to b1 or 1+3+4.

WHY NOT played tons of tekken 6 on psp too with the whole highschool doing bets for 3 sets. Used Jin a LOT and as you said his Stance have limited options BUT that’s what made him fun(for me at least) cuz of how tricky and consistent you have to play especially when everyone uses Lars(smh).

But jin is fun as hell to use imo, most of my friends whi play tekken use devil jin (tekken god), alisa (vindicator), and then theres that one friend with jack6,feng,paul,king,armor king,mokujin,bryan,wang,yoshi, and baek at tekken god, all i do is sit here and play my jin and bryan (overlord and tekken god). We do sets of 5 tho

Great jin! Could you give me some advice as to what kind of mentality should you have playing jin what you should be focused? And great music choice loving that dmc soundtrack.

Thanks! There's many ways to play Jin, simply because he has pretty much every tool you'll need. He has tools to open up opponents in case you want to play more aggressively and at the same time he has tools for a strong neutral game and turtling. So it's up to your playstyle. In my case, I usually tend to focus on getting a health lead with a relatively safe flowchart (some pokes here, some pokes there, a mixup or two, not too risky) and then back away and go for the neutral game.

Thanks! You can chicken with f+1+2+3+4 every time, no matter what limb you use. I have 1+2+3+4 bound to the R3 button of my ps4 pad and when I expect a parry I buffer f+R3 after an attack. Normally, you should buffer chickens after every attack against parry-reliant characters, but I'm not quite there yet haha

At least Jin is viable in Tekken. Ryu is no where to be found in Street Fighter

Jin is viable now. In previous titles he wasn't (if you don't count Devil Jin). Not at all. He was sorta viable in tag 2, though, but you didn't really see him in tournaments. But really bad in Tekken 5/6. Then again, he was a monster in Tekken 4.
