I really like these short in-depth guides, there's something here for everyone without having to scrub through an insanely long yet somehow still lacking video. I also like your clean visual style, since you're seemingly playing the number game and asking for subscribers might I suggest you provide something akin to a cheatsheet or command list paired with these videos. You've basically already done all the leg work, slap it on an interesting background which includes your branding and let the community through sharing, by virtue of being useful, market you wholesale. I grew up the 90's, I make notes, I actually write down my observations, combo's, dungeon layouts etc. This seemingly is a lost art, which in turn is why games feel the need to handhold and dumb down; since Tekken largely avoided this fallacy I think there's an opportunity here for you to reach out further whilst also helping people stick with the game; who knows, if each of these is a page somewhere down the line MishimaComplex might become synonymous to the MishimaBible or MishimaEncyclopaedia.

Something I've not often seen mentioned is that electrics from unsoku seem to have 1 frame of leniency - if you try to execute a regular EWGF from the stance and you input d/f one frame before the 2 input, you still seem to get an electric. I have very mediocre execution but that buffer is enough for me to go from 10% success rate in hitting electrics to more like 50%

Great guide but I think theres a small error. When you do electrics out of Unsoku stance, for whatever reason, you have to delay the attack input button to be 1 frame after down forward rather than the usual same frame timing. I'm unsure if its a bug and will get changed later but thought I should point it out.

Yeah I feel you, I think the benefit of the stance is it simplifies whiff punishing a lot, which I’m guessing is what the devs intended. I like that she has multiple ways of approaching these situations though 👍

What allows you to do so many electrics in a row? Is it just raw speed or is there a technique to it? Been trying to learn how to do that and wavedash but i'm not sure if i'm fast enough because I max out at 2, also if you/anyone happens to have some tips on how to get more consistent electrics from wavedash chains would appreciate it a lot. I can more or less do them from standing but its so much harder from wavedashes
@MishimaComplex8 ай бұрын
It’s a mixture of speed and timing, you need to initiate the dash electric right as your recovery frames end from the previous, the dash needs to be a specific length and the EWGF needs to be pretty quick. I have an older guide on dash electrics if you’re interested 😊. Wavedash electric comes down to practice tbh, it can be tricky timing the 2 input as doing fast wavedashes requires you to skip over the DF input pretty quickly. Start with 1 wavedash into electric and mentally seperate the wavedash from the EWGF, then move up from there. Let me know how you go! 👊
@Rhyhmx8 ай бұрын
@@MishimaComplex Ive checked your dash electric guide, no wonder why i hit double electrics sp inconsistently sometimes i accidentally did dash electrics. As for the wavedash practice I'll try that method and practice it =) Not entirely comfortable with chaining wavedashes anyway when i pay attention i get medium speed but as soo as i start thinking about doing spmething i fumble with my thumbs :D Its painful to be a new Mishima player but she is so much fun even in practice

@@MishimaComplex thanks! Two more quick question, does hitting f df+2 is better or crouch dash 2? I find it a bit easier to do the cd version but not sure if there's any benefit to the other one, perhaps for punishing with less input. And another question is that the hellsweep you get from cd has a nitation that you can boost its damage? But i never bern able to get that one right
@MishimaComplex8 ай бұрын
@@Rhyhmx I’d personally do F,n,D,DF unless you’re really comfortable with electrics. F,n,DF is good for tight punishes, but it’s a lot easier to misinput.
