I’ve been into cosplay for a while. I live right outside of Pittsburgh and have gone to TEKKO for two years. I saw all of the Lolita there and went home and did some research. Let’s just say I’m in love with Lolita, and I’m in love with you and Tyler. I’m so incredibly mad at myself for being so oblivious of how close yet so far away I was from this community a couple of weeks ago and I hope one day you guys will come back and I can not COMPLETELY DISREGARD THE FACT THAT I LOOKED THOUGH ANGELIC PRETTY BOOTH! anyway I love you and I’m mad at myself.💕

Wow, Tekko seemed awesome, specially in comparison to some previous recent experiences. Everything looked placed together, supported, well organized and it shows on people's faces and mood. Both you and Holly looked amazing, I'm happy to see her expanding into Lolita and her coords looked great. Actually everyone at the con looked so on point and friendly, it's great to watch. So, again as a non-lolita and self called potato goth, things that I was totally stoked seeing, major point was representativity. From the people there to the brands on the fashion show, all body types, people of color, different ages and styles, I even spotted one guy in Lolita at the tea party (you go person, let me know if I got the pronoun wrong by any chance). In goth community we are still fighting for this since mainstream brands only feature/mostly feature, skinny white girls and boys, there's no gender neutrality and so on, and finding cute larger sized clothing is an ordeal. I'm more on the skinny side but my body features include boobs larger than most sizes, it's a pain (y'all know what I'm talking). A thing I didn't see and unsure if it would fit the Lolita theme, but most certainly would for J-Fashion and such, was having a live band showcasing their music. I know budgets for cons are not always big, but I think even featuring smaller artists, giving them their fair share would help expand the local scene and bring more enthusiasts for the cons. Bonus thing, I'm not into the frilly side of life, I like taking 10 mins max to get ready, but that Lady Sloth dress with the creepy forest bottom is calling for me, I'm obsessed and you created a monster because i'll have to get stuff from that brand, thanks for ending my budget Lor, lol. Thanks for sharing your experience with us

Thanks so much for your reply. I've wanted to wear dresses and skirts since I was a little boy, but these styles are out of this world. I feel like I would love to put on those dresses and stay in them for the rest of my life. Hope this doesn't offend you. Lolita is the most beautiful style I have ever seen.

I love looking at Lolita fashion so much. I could never wear it how I would want to. It's a deeply personal problem, but I can't stand sleeves on shirts. An over shirt maybe, if it is loose enough and I'm wearing a tank top or bralette underneath. I can't even wear t-shirts anymore, they feel so constricting...

This is so wholesome and heartwarming. I had pushed down and forgotten how much lolita mattered to me until recently, when I found out that Haenuli was going to close shop. It gave me the last push I needed to dare to start collecting lolita pieces. I'm so glad I could stop pushing the fashion out of my mind, because it fills me with such joy and so much excitement that longs to be freed. I'm so glad that I can start taking physical part into it now that I'm making money! I barely make any, but one day I'll have a wardobe of lolita that I'll hopefully cherish for a long time to come. I started with the new colourway of Little Mermaid, after deciding that was the dress I wanted the most from Nunu's final rounds. It was the nost expensive of them (aside from the pink version of LM), which made my wallet cry ^^; I unfortunately missed out on Enchanted Fawn, since I didn't know about it happening. However, as there are more than just that dress from her that I long for, I know I'll just have to keep my eyes open on the secondhand market. This is an essay, I'm sorry, but this vkdeo inspired me to share. I may still be poor, but I'm fighting my way out of it. Finding your channel has made me so happy and inspired to fight for the fashion again. I love it so much and even though I'm just one girl up in Norway, I've heard there's somewhat of a community here.
