I decided to do a ripple stitch temperature blanket this year in the colors of my wedding happenning in October (more minimal but still colorful) and chose to do daily low during winter, daily averages for spring and fall, and daily high for summer. Where I live has a lot of variation and its made my blanket come out better!

Hi Holly! I just wanted to say 2 things. First, one of your temperature blanket shorts popped into my feed a few weeks ago and I thought it was such a cool idea that I decided to start my own! I know I'm super late in the year and I'm going to fight to catch up, but I just finished January tonight and it's looking really nice. I did a pastel blue/purple/green color palette with off white in between months. Second, I had an idea for you to distinguish between months: if you don't use cherry red or pool, you can alternate those in chunks around the edges of each month. I have colors for the super high and super low that I may not use (depending on the weather of course) and I was thinking about using those for my border, like a couple rows of each, and that's what gave me this idea. Anyway, I know this was a super long comment lol, but thanks for giving me a new project to work on!

I am a few weeks finishing up 2nd temperature blanket. The first was for my great granddaughter. It's for her first year of life. The 2nd is for my great grandson! They are beautiful when done. I also took a notebook and wrote the actual temperature for that day. And notes throughout the year 😊

Hi I just started following you! You seem very nice! Love your videos so far! I love your patience as well, having a longer/wider blanket or just having one color for several days (mostly orange for summer) drove me crazy and my OCD kicked in so I restarted my temperature blanket 3 times already lol. If you decide to make a new one make it with the highs not the averages you will get that bright red! Also, I have a special color for special days in the year (birthday, graduation etc) (:

I know you said you weren't sure a out tassels but do tassels on both edges so 24 tassels total shouldn't look weird and if you think it does you can do bigger tassels as the month markers and smaller ones in between
