If you live in the cold winter climates sure you install the Battery tender in warm weather as the plastic wire cables completely cracked in half for me when I was having battery issues in the cold.

Get a good plug kit and air compressor that plugs into your 12v outlet. Much better fix than fix a flat, that shit won't come out of the can once it's been rolling around in your truck for a year or two. Plus you can fill a lot bigger hole with multiple plugs if needed.

as far as brake fluid goes I check that every day but most of my stuff either leaks it out so I'll never have to change it or I blow lines calipers and brake cylinders

if you remove old brake fluid for new or a cracking s-belt for a new one you achieved "improvement" of those things. The title doesn't say improvement over original.

Talk about the fan belt but not all the things it travels on? When you have the belt off check for worn out bearings by shaking and spinning them. Idlers water pump Harmonic balancer and alternator check them all.

I'm sorry but I've worked for 5 years as a tire tech and had to clean wheels and my work station after changing tires that had fix-a-flat in them. It does make a pretty good size mess.

10+ years tire tech/ 20+ auto tech experience ; I can plug, patch, or vulcanize punctures. Rarely ever is a sidewall puncture repairable, fix a flat definitely won't work. It causes a huge mess and is potentially hazardous when using a center mount machine as residual pressure will often blow upward towards the operator spraying ammonia in the eyes. Also if not properly cleaned residue on inner liner of radials can reduce likely hood of proper adhesion of repair patch. These guys seem to have it together... until it comes to tires 😉. Still a decent video.

It is very messy plus alot of tpms sensors are built into the valve stem and you absolutely do not put that shit through a tpms

Belts do not squeak. It is the tensioners that lose their tension. The belt and tensioner should be replaced as a pair. I cannot remember how many people returned new belts because they still squeak. Also, belts will show small cracks in the ribs. That is normal. Replace the belts and the tensioner at recommended intervals or if you bought a used vehicle. PS: "Fix a flat" stuff does not work and can damage the tire and rim. Use a plug kit and small compressor (and run the compressor for a few seconds at a time or it will overheat and die). belts don't squeak? Hmmmmm 30 yrs in the business and replaced many glazed over belts that squeaked. Never yet replaced a tensioner because the belt was squeaking. A lot of cars don't even have tensioners so there goes your theory.

I want to put lockers on my 2001 2500 ram truck single cab long bed 5.9 v8 , I also have a 23 ft camper would the lockers affect towing? If I can install lockers what would be a good match? I'm on a budget.

Fix a flat may only be a small amount in one can but the average person doesn't just put one can in or follow the directions on the tire or the tire is to damaged for fix a flat because they drove on it for 2 miles. when the seal on the bead is broken it is not uncommon for the unsuspecting tire installer to get their shoes filled with the stuff and they will find out who did this to them. I know I did when I worked changing and fixing tires. If for nothing else but to do terrible things in my mind. Also, It does mar the finish on some types of early aluminum wheels. don't know about any in the last 20 years.

I’ve worked in and managed tire service shops.... Stay away from fix a flat. It’ll cost you more money in the end. This guy must be getting paid by somebody. He didn’t “debunk” anything. Flat repair quick fix chems destroy sensors, increase labor time on repairs, and generally piss off tire service technicians.

Fix a flat will ice up and freeze in the winter which can throw your tire out of balance. Another thing is when you have sensors in your wheels the can specifically says not recommended for tire sensors. So in a nutshell some if the things truck u is telling you is misleading, I do tires for a living and I see on a daily basis the effects of fix a flat. So before you use it read the label for information

You would attach right to the coolant res, that is where your "radiator cap" is. It's pressurized instead of just being a flip cap. You would go to the water drain hole on the a/c box (under the vehicle) and gently blow shop air to clear the drain clog.

Fix-A-Flat is okay if you got aluminum rims but we got Metal rims it will rust up if you don't get that out of there.

David Morrison aluminum is not corrosive...but it does oxidize. It doesn’t turn to rust though, it changes to aluminum oxide. That’s why you have to remove it from the surface when welding aluminum
