Hi dude what is the 120amp esc called for the jlb cheetah the rebranded hobby wing one coz my 80amp esc has given up the ghost

HW Ezrun SC8 RTR WP(waterproof) 120a ESC. Or just look up JLB Cheetah ESC or DHK Maximus esc. They both use the same ESC. DHK ESC has 2 battery plugs. JLB ESC has 1 battery plug.

And also do u recommend any wheels for the gen 1 cheetah under 40 to 60 US

I’m currently running DHK zombie tires on my gen2 Cheetah and it handles great. It’s around$ 25 for a pair on banggood and eBay. I’ve also ran these wheels on my gen1. They run good too. Even the hoboa MT wheels are good and affordable. 👍🍻

The esc needs to be recalibrated. Check out my playlist, I have a video on how to recalibrate. 👍

What mods are you running on your JLB? Are you still running stock esc an motor? Also, for speed what gear ratio do you suggest ? Thanks

This Cheetah is stock all around except for the tires and shock oil. It’s rolling on proline 3.8 badlands and 50wt shock oil all round. The ESC is 120a, servo is called Power Servo 20kg with aluminum steering horn. Stock 15t pinion gear. My gen2 Cheetah gearing is 17t which makes it a little more faster then my gen1. You can go up to 19t until the motor mount is at max adjustment. If you have the 80a version I suggest upgrading it right away to the 120a. I never have any issues with the 120a ESC and it’s in all of my bashing trucks. 👍🍻

Do you recommend it..? Is it durable?

Yeah it’s durable and super fast and cheap$$. There’s a lot of spare parts for this that you can build you own.
