love your reaction! Just want to share a little bit background story of this song (a well-known song, pretty much every single Chinese has once heard of it). The song was composed and written by Tengri himself about 20 yrs ago. There was a part of the lyrics, saying "homeland is my heaven, my girl is waiting for me. " Tengri got his first kid when he reached 44, loved her to death. But unfortunately, the girl passed away at the age of 6 from a rare disease. That's why this song has another meaning behind it, that everytime he sang this song he was singing to his daughter who would always stay in his heart, and in his heaven.

ive been followinf tengger for a few years now, and its seems like you have a lot of misinformation, tengger wrote this song in 1997 and his beloved daughter passed away 8 years later, and the crying co host JiJie isnt mongolian, he is of Yi ethnic from Sichuan province, the polution in inner Mongolia is result of over mining which started around 2003 after China joined the WTO, then reached its peak at 2010.
