How many heads does a hydra have? Depends on the hydra. The Lerna's hydra had only 3, but each time one was cut, two emerged from the stump. As opposite to what's believed, the hydra had no fire breath. It was though extremely venomous, and even just stepping in its footprints would kill a man. It was the second fatigue of Hercules' mark. And he managed to defeat it with the help of another mythological hero, named Iolao. Nerding time, out. Hope it was educative.
