The Montreal mixup was hilarious. Kyrgios in Miami...man he was on fire then let his mind take over. Sinner kept his cool and took it in straight sets. And 9 match point saves vs the Montreal champ......wow. Wont be surprised if we see Novak save that many one day. Rune......what a mental beast. His run to the title was the most incredible M1000 run ever IMO. After saving 3 MP vs 3x slam champ Stan in R1, he beat FIVE top 10 players in a row. The semi and the final were incredible. -Rune ended FAA's amazing 16 match win streak easily. And then...... -Not only did Rune beat Novak, he did so in truly incredible fashion. Rune was a set down. Then he was down 0-40 in the first game of the second set. Holds and wins the set 6-3. Then Rune was down a break in the third. Got it back, held when serving to stay in the match, then saved SIX break points in that final game despite hitting a bad double fault on that first match point. Djokovic had chances galore and somehow still lost. How often does that happen? Kozlov....the definition of commitment. Nothing more to say.

"rune mental beast" bro he is such an undisciplined brat
@james-vx7nv Жыл бұрын
@@cinespherestudios How? If he is an undisciplined brat as you put it, how does he hold serve from 15-40 down vs Stan at 4-5 in the second (2 MP)? How does he save a third match point in the third set and eventually come through in a final set tiebreak? How does he keep his head vs Djokovic after going down a set? After going down 0-40 early in the second? After going down a break in the third? And how does he save 6 break points in that crazy final game? He might not always be the best behaved tennis player but his mental strength is improving at a rapid pace. Needs to work on his fitness, appeared to be on the verge of cramping towards the end which is gonna trouble him in best of 5 as it did vs Novak at USO. But if he can improve his fitness, watch out.

Perversion of rules? You break the rules, you get a code violation. It's really simple tbh

@@MihaiMarcut players have crossed the net before and havent gotten violations. Its within the umpires judgement to give a warning for that or not. To have a discussion with a player about a ballmark from 8 feet away and then warning him for a non harmfully intended crossing of the net - to me thats poor judgement. Its like back in the day - early 2010's - when they gave time violations to a player that just ended a 50 shot ralley with a dive volley at the net and didnt not serve again in timely manner. Its just bad upiring.

a peversion of rules would be not to give the point penalty. you forget they are professional players, I played well on a national level and it is in your blood, that you cant go on the opponents side under any circumstances, except your opponent is injured - shapovalov being trimmed playing international tournaments since 5 years old hundred percent knew what he did when he crossed the net, as he said at the end
