The authentic character of your videos sets them apart from other so called camping channels - the ones where wilderness poseurs pretend they’ve trekked in from far away when they’re only 50 feet from their car. It’s a real treat to watch your vids, and your coffee brewing. My most memorable cups - brewed the same way as yours - were while backpacking in the Sierras. Life’s too short to be un-caffeinated.

Heinz ketchup is the best of the rest! Since I can remember my mum always and only bought Heinz! And again... Those burgers.... I was getting very hungry. Its half past 12 here in the Netherlands, so its night, no burgers for me.... I am very very jealous now..... hahaha You really deserved such perfect food Abel! I loved loved the views. This area looks pretty good and I'm sure Victoria would like to re-visit that spot with you in a later camp. Ingenious method of water collection to when there is no water near you. By the way, the Wombat reference to your brother in a previous camp was not lost on this Aussie. LOL Dang. I had to pause this video at the 27 minute mark and wrote the start of this comment. When I went back I saw your demonstration of the V60 coffee process. Based on your recommendation, I purchased one, and filter papers, for myself in the quest to make a better coffee. Your demo makes me more confident to get going on it so thanks. Also enjoyed the insight you gave about yourself, the camp, the vistas which makes your video more personal and enjoyable. You should do more of that mate. See you next year.

Hey im in a different location when the weka come. The spot where Tony regularly camps has had poison dropped to kill predators which also kills the weka. This is my best guess. I have never seen weka when I camp in that location either

I have thought about this. I have also seen some analysis done comparing beans ground on a pro grinder that are not freshly ground vs fresh ground on less quality grinder. The beans that weren’t ground fresh were tasting better. I remember seeing this some time ago. Either way bush coffee from the tent is great
