because of this i use a3 sketchbooks. you can tell stories with multiple sketches, or draw aditional details of main sketch. i am architect so i do that often. it's big to carry sometimes but it's much more versatile.

I agree with you when you say that practice regularly is very important and also with your nibs, I prefer your Pelican on this paper. Nice idea these small "windows", to study a street for example. Thank you for sharing Parka ! 🙏

After binge watching your videos for days I want say at this point that I really enjoy your content and the topic selections. Also as many people mentioned in the comments it is exceptional how much you know about art and art supplies and how scientific you approach everything you do while still letting loose in your sketches!! I find it pretty amusing for example that you even word out the specific pigments WHILE painting keep the good work up we appreciate it!

I always look forward to your new videos, Teoh. I recently began sketching again and I find my problem is that I keep trying to draw things too big and they run off the page! I don't remember having this problem in the past, but maybe I just need to practice more. It's been 25 years since I have practiced.

Hi Teoh - just wanted to say how much I enjoy your artwork and videos. I’ve watched a lot of your book review videos but I’m still unsure which book would be best for someone new to urban sketching. I’m ok at drawing/perspective so would be interested in a book that includes urban sketching techniques/styles, colouring, useful tips etc. Could you recommend maybe one or two books that would be good for me?

@@teohyc Thank you for you reply Teoh - I have just watched your video review of this book and am interested in getting a copy. Would you also be able to recommend a couple of books that have really good examples of urban sketching, similar to your style which I really like? I’d like to have one or two books I can use for reference and to practice copying styles.

Hi Teoh, really like your videos. This looks like a fun technique, also good if you don’t have much time to sketch. What was the name of your favorite fountain pen? I’ve recently tried my first fountain pen and wasn’t too happy with it.

I have watched most of the video illustrations done by you and learned quite a lot, Thanks for sharing. I am not sure whether I should ask you a paining doubt on this forum , could you please let me know where I can send you the message and not bother you on this platform? I will just put down my doubt here though. I am trying to paint from a photograph and having difficulties to paint waterbody with reflections , Could you please help me to show how to go about it? If ok, I can share the reference photo . Thanks for all the help and really sorry to bother you .. ~Ashwini
