Congratulations on your finish of Evening in the Park. I loved watching you work on that project for sure. It is so beautiful. I also love when you work on the Farm one. It is so cool on how it all comes together. You have such different projects, and I give you a lot of credit to only pull out 11 WIP's out of your stash. I am doing Temperature Stitching, and I work on 10 projects when the temperature comes up. I work on a project for 5 times and then I switch it out with a new WIP and I am hoping that all of my 36 WIP's get worked on for the year. I put in 100 stitches each time it is called, and it really helps to see my WIP's get bigger. I have 1 full coverage, and I do not think I will ever get it done at my old age, but we will see how far I can get with it. Happy Stitching.

I would love to see a video devoted to Evening in the Park as you were my inspiration for starting it myself! I have the tiniest of starts but I hunted until I found a fabric like yours and I am amazed at your finish. Just gorgeous! I don’t use Pattern Keeper for the same reason you don’t like it, it doesn’t work on IOS and I use my IPad for most of my stitching - Goodnotes for hard copy patterns and Markup R-XP for PDFs. Best of wishes on your 2025 plans. I’ve decided to not set any rules for 2025 and will see what that looks like in December. Hugs ❤

Hi Teresa! Congrats on Evening in the Park! It looks AMAZING!! As for Markup vs Pattern Keeper, I have both (I got Markup before they started doing the annual fee) as well, and I have the same complaints as you. I love the stats on Markup, but it seems slower to load patterns, and all the features can get a little confusing. I noticed that PK hadn't had an update in over a year, and I was starting to think it might have been abandoned, so late last year, I started switching projects to Markup instead. I love being able to see the stats and know exactly how many stitches I have left on a page, but I still love PK for the simplicity. The symbols are so clear, and it's so easy to use! I have an Android tablet, so I don't have the same iOS concerns that you do.

I too use both Markup R-XP and Pattern Keeper, due to the same issues you stated (prefer iOS and my android tablet is hopeless with holding charge). So, for my full coverages that are only stitched at home I use Markup - my tablet stays plugged in and I stitch from my master set on Annies Keepers. For my on the go projects I use Markup, because like you my tablet goes everywhere with me and I can send a backup copy to my phone if I get a chance to stitch while out and about. Happy 2025 🎉

Evening in the Park is beautiful. I find on full coverage i stitch diagonal cross country, as far as my thread goes. I tell myself, discipline!, IN staying in the diagonal. Depending on where the next stitch is, in the same thread I will park in the next diagonal. I work in a 10 sometimes 20 stitch wide diagonal. It works for me.

Evening in the park is wonderful. The camera did pick up the sparkle. I stitch all my full coverages the way you are going to try. Pick top symbol and stitch in that square and go over to the next one or down. If there is too much thread left, I will park it. I find it's faster this way. Happy new year

Your Evening in the Park is beautiful. Congratulations on that finish. I have both Patternkeeper and Markup RXP. I had the same issues that you have. I use an ipad for everything, so instead of trying to keep 2 tablets going, I switched to Markup for everything. What I miss about Patternkeeper....The response time on the shortcut for a parked thread is the biggest thing. Also, I think Patternkeeper symbols are clearer. The plusses for Markup to me is that I can put all my projects in one app and have symbol recognition (and thread legend) whether its a paper chart or one that the symbols are recognized. Even though I don't track a lot of statistics, it is really nice to see the estimate of completion that Markup gives you. Every once in awhile I think I might try patternkeeper again only for full coverage. But, Markup always wins out because everything's in one place and that place is my iPad that I use for everything else. Hope that helps.

Teresa what an absolutely stunning finish on your Evening in the Park. That was certainly a very dedicated labor love and take the time to bask in its glorious finish. I discovered floss tube about 3 months ago having had no idea that this platform existed. I am a stitcher of 52 years and am proud of it. The only downside is that i am not a spring chicken anymore. I still work but my day is not completed unless i can pick up my needle every day. Anyway, i discovered your flosstube rather quickly and went back to start viewing your first one. I would love to say that i have seen all of them but i have watched at least 75 percent. I love your spirit, your choices of design and your very endearing personality. Can't wait to see your 2025 progress!!! You are a gem!!. Please continue to entertain us all.

🎉Congratulations, Evening in the park is stunning ❤. To this day, I still don't know how to use Markup R-Xp properly 🙈, so pattern keeper is the winner for me 😂. But for no full coverage I started to use SAGA, and it is amazing. It also shows half stitches, backstitches, and french knots. It works for both androids and apple products.

My plans are to touch all my WIPS. When I do touch them, they get added to the tracker I bought from you. This includes all my crafts, cross stitch, quilts, knitting, crochet and my newest project, yet to be started, paint-by-number project. I will be keeping track of all of the, in your tracker.

Thank you for showing your projects for 2024/2025 I prefer Markup R-XP I’ve tried pattern keeper and found it has less info and a bit fiddly to use but Markup R-XP I found very easy to use I love the info that you get and the sensitivity bar most of the time you can ignore it if you use extra part to download your patterns you can find that in the menu in the side bit of markup it’s a better download and will pick up all the symbols anyway that’s what I’ve found with it 😍😍👍👍

Congratulations on Evening in the Park it is gorgeous, you should be so proud that you crossed that finish line. I use pattern keeper . I am an IOS person but got a cheap kindle fire for PK. My first Kindle lasted 5 years before the battery started to die. I got Kindle fire 10 this year on Prime day for about £80 so if it lasts for another 4/5 years I have had my monies worth. PK doesn’t have the stats but I use a planner and spread sheet so I can get the info I need on my stitching from there.

I love your finish of Evening in the Park. I don’t have much experience with pattern keeper and markup RXP. I bought a tablet just to have pattern keeper to stitch a HAED design. I have gotten so lost on it and it may never get finished. Plus not all patterns upload to pattern keeper. I have had issue trying to load my physical patterns into markup. Many times I end up just using goodnotes so I can mark off what I have stitched. Goodnotes gives you no information. I have watched a lot of videos on markup and I cant seem to get it correct. I really like buying physical patterns vs pdf. I tend to forget I have pdfs and don’t stitch them. Will be happy to see what you determine with your stitching. I don’t park. I use a color in a 10x10 block and it there is the same symbol in the square above or below I will stitch those. I don’t travel more than one block from the block I am trying to complete.

Great finish 💪🏻 well done! Great selection of projects. I have also moved away from 10x10 block stitching and parking but I’ve added the diagonal grid lines on pattern keeper and stitch within that section and park the other side of the line so I’m not going to far ahead and not finishing every thread. I defo think it’s been quicker for me. There are less parked threads as 8n some areas I was just getting tangled. Happy new year x
