James Cameron really does the best commentaries. So insightful.

Might explain why the commentaries for Aliens and Titanic were done with Cameron solo from everyone else. 😆

I’m really curious about where some of his stories were going. :/

Love this film sooo effing much. I still have the 2-disc EXTREME DVD. Eventually, I did manage to find n buy (at cheap prices/used) the 2-disc ULTIMATE DVD and the blu-ray SKYNET edition.

1:58:42: DAMN!! 😳 Cameron clearly taking a swipe at Terminator 3. (This commentary came out in late 2003, about the same time as Terminator 3. And yes, I do agree that Arnold’s line in T2 is WAAAYYY better!)

The story device of T2 just shows why this film is in a league of its own when compared to Dark Fate. T2 makes a point to show the growth in child John to show he’s not a man of weapons but it’s his mind that is his greatest weapon. We get to see him use that in this film so you can buy him growing up to be a great, inspirational leader. We see nothing that shows that of Dani in Dark Fate, just the traditional smaller woman who can beat up a man BS that’s so over cliché now and given her size is also COMPLETELY laughable. It just shows that writers today don’t seem to understand that being a good leader doesn’t have to be about physical strength, which is why so many of the female leads are a carbon copy of the same template.

I agree with the editors about the song in the beginning. It’s so overused it brings you out of the movie.

It may be overused but it will always be associated with this film.
