Thank you both for this video. It helped me to see where my grandparents came from. So much of our history was not asked by us when we were young. Now that we’re grandparents, it becomes very important. 🥰

Another great and interesting video. We went to Himera and ate in that restaurant when we visited Sicily by Dreams. It was fantastic and some of the best food we had in Sicily!

@@EszterVajda my ancestors were originally from Ireland, Netherlands and Ireland were now live in the States, unfortunately no Sicilian blood that I’m aware of other than the place they now hold in our hearts after visiting last year.

Nice tour. Love the beaches from Termini to Campo Felice. I didn't know about the connection with Bari and St. Nicolas. We toured St. Nicolas in Bari once to hear about how the Italians stold Santa's remains from Turkey. They still hold services there with both the Greek and Roman liturgies like some towns in Sicily.

YES Termini Imerese is right off the highway. But to get to Himera easier to take next exit Campofelice di Roccella, there is even a sign as you exit saying Himera Archeological Park

Nina, one of the hotels has a spa that has some of the thermal waters.
