Terramow Software Update: New Features Added!

Thank you Crazypostman, I am expecting my unit in the next week or two. I really like the remote control ability. One of my zones is the other side of a country lane and I would have to carry it across, however now if away I can check the lane is clear on video and then drive it safely across remotely. Love what Terramow have done.

I have 2 robot mowers already on top of the Yarbo that is on the way. I also have 5 robot vacuums. I, too, got all these to save me time. And i find myself also watching them do their thing instead of making better use of the things they are giving me.

@@CollinLutz-p9e Completely understand 🤣 Don't think of it as wasting time when you're watching them. Think of it as entertainment. So not only do they do your work for you, they give you entertainment.

You need the boston dynamics robot to open the gate door. You are a regular ISS docking pilot. What is that white car in your driveway? Is it the long-awaited EV? Oh, like the name you gave the mower.

@@bikeny The white car is another different rental. No word yet on when the Tesla is coming.

not sure if you tried off camera, when you hit set start point and it circles around the first time, when it shows set start point and start remote. try just hitting start point again and not remote. Im wondering if the first press gives the unit its bearings like you said, then a second click of the start button actually tells it "start from here".

@@imhungry1778 I did try that three times in a row. It just spins on its circle and then says the same thing again. When you click, select Start Point the thumbsticks are supposed to come up on the screen And you move forward, the button is supposed to change to select endpoint

I watched the other vid that has been loaded about going to another zone - his bot moved after setting the position. I just wonder if you were a little too far away from the edge of the zone ? Maybe try it again and maybe reduce the distance by half to the zone edge ?

I have a theory. The open gate is confusing the Terramow. When it determines the starting point's location, it's supposed to alert you audibly. It MIGHT work if you started the path well away from the open gate - someplace with good landmarks. @@RogerGalliett I will try starting from further away. I haven't tried that. I have tried starting up start point with the gate closed. Because I considered it might not recognize the position with the gate open.
