Vicky is possessed by the little pale girl in this one. It's a demon that takes the form of his first victim in the second movie, and at the end of that one, she takes over Vicky's body (the giveaway is when her eye starts glowing the same way the little pale girl's did)
@VictoriaTraducciones3 ай бұрын
Yeah, I knew the pale girl was in Victoria now by the end of T2 because her eyes were glowing like the pale girl's when she gives birth to Art's head, and then T3 trailer comes out and people were complaining there was no pale girl and I was like am I the only one that understood T2's ending or am i wrong in my interpration of that scene? was drivining me nuts, I was waiting for T3 to confirm to me I was not reading too much into things LOL
@chrisbell87453 ай бұрын
@@VictoriaTraduccionesYes there's very obvious visual cues in T2, and in 3 it's pretty much stated what she actually is, that Art, through his depraved actions in T1 and before, became a "conduit" for the demon who then resurrected him at the end of that movie. Which is why we get the whole villain speech from "Vicky" at the end of 3.

If you’ll indulge me, I also thought the themes commenting on the misogyny of the franchise were pretty good in the fact that for the most part, Sienna’s dad depicted women in the same way as the earlier Art movies but he went on to create this very brave, strong female character, which we get to see in Sienna Shaw. So to me her dad represents Damien Leone and his evolution on female characters represents the evolution of the franchise.

I wouldnt say the franchise is misogynist, I just think girls make a better vehicle for a horror as a protagonist because they have less physical power and make us, the audience feel more vulnerable for them. But yes Sienna is a bad ass and might be my favorite horror protagonist

Legendary makeup artist John Caglione Jr most famous for working on The Dark Knight's Joker makeup told Damien Leone he was a fan of Terrifier 1 & 2 and offered to work on the film which Leone quickly accepted. Director Damien Leone said that several big studios showed interest in financing this movie based on the unexpected success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a full script, but he turned them all down because he is certain that they would never let him film the opening scene alone, which he describes as "very controversial". Leone commented that the only reason that he can be so uncompromising in his depiction of horror and gore is because he finances his movies independently, creates all the special effects himself to keep costs down, and has no big studio breathing down his neck to make the movie more mainstream. When making Terrifier 1 & 2 Damien Leone has stated in interviews that the crew consisted of only 5-10 people depending on the day with crew members working every position possible. For Terrifier 3 there were dozens of people on set every day with dedicated crew departments. The rat tube scene truly made Art The Clown’s actor David Howard Thornton nauseous and he had to prevent himself from throwing up. Distributor Cineverse had only one request and that was to make the film under two hours long. Damien Leone who served as his own editor again recalled ripping out pages while filming to make the film shorter realizing it would be too long and not have time to film the scenes. The ending was much longer and was cut down. Despite trying his best to meet this request Damien submitted his final edit at 2 hours and 5 minutes. Towards the end of the film where a woman is on a bus reading a book called "The 9th Circle", the author's picture is that of the film's costume designer Olga Turka. The first horror film since Saw III (2006) to receive the "18" rating in France (no one under 18 admitted, equivalent to NC-17 in the U.S.) Damien Leone in several interviews stated the Christmas theme was directly influenced by the 1972 film and 1989 TV series adaptations of Tales From Crypt. Both featured a story called "And All Through The House" about a mental patient dressed as Santa on a killing spree. This is Leone's favorite version of a killer Santa and the cold open of Terrifier 3 is an homage to it. Several homages from classic horror movies were in this film including Art's face through the hole in the white door for the Shining. The window Art is sitting by in the rocking chair is the same shape as the famous Amityville window, also a reference to a body propped up at a window in the original Black Christmas. Also, the shower scene from Psycho and Scarface. In an interview Damien Leone stated it took 6 years to make Terrifier 2 as he and his producer Phil Falcone were doing every job on the production and underestimated how ambitious it would become to complete. With Terrifier 3 Damien faced a new challenge of writing and completing production within a single year to meet the release date. The production barely made it on time for its September premiere at Fantastic Fest. In one scene a woman is seen reading a book called "The 9th Circle" by an author called Rosemary Castavete. This is a reference to both the original short film where Art The Clown first appeared The 9th Circle (2008) and Rosemary's Baby (1968) which features the titular character Rosemary and also characters with the surname Castavete. Outgrossed Terrifier 2 (2022) within its first weekend of release. The letter, Sienna saved, from Jonathan reads: Sienna, We have to destroy the little girl before it's too late. Destroy her because she's inhuman...a DEMON. Sometimes demons try to break into our world, only they can't do it alone, they have to choose a vessel, someone recently deceased, who functions as a bridge between worlds. But not just anyone - someone sinister, depraved - the worst kind of EVIL, like a serial killer. If a demon enters this world in the flesh, a counterpart must be appointed to stop it from becoming too powerful. It's you Sienna, as long as you're alive, they're vulnerable. And they know it. -Jonathan First film in the series to not feature Special FX Makeup done by Damien Leone. The production used two makeup teams. Oscar winning Tinsley Studio and the Tom Savini & Jason Baker led Callosum Studios. Savini cameos in the film as a civilian witness on the news. Two distribution sources noted that DreamWorks Animation and Universal's The Wild Robot saw a noticeable bump and speculate that teenagers and young teens bought tickets to that film and then snuck into Terrifier 3. This is the second film unrated by the MPA to open at #1 at the domestic box office in the 21st century, after Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé (2023). Frank Stallone was in talks to play Jesus but turned it down. Clint Howard is in this film and also featured in Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation (1990) and Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker (1991), which featured a slasher killer dressed as Santa Claus, something this film pays homage to. In an interview with the NY Post Christian Tinsley and Jason Baker the lead makeup artists on the film said they used several 55 gallon drums of blood on the film. With 20 gallons being used just for the infamous shower scene. The shower scene was the final sequence filmed and the production ran of out of blood while shooting and had to go to local stores for supplies to make more. The first Terrifier film to be filmed in anamorphic (2.39:1) lenses. According to media outlet LAD Bible, the first official screening for the film had 9 confirmed walk-outs by the end of the opening scene. Director Damian Leone reported that he had been in talks with "legit Hollywood studios" who had shown in interest in funding the film, but said "after reading the first five pages, I knew they weren't going to let me make this movie. That's how insane Terrifier 3 is." Metal band Ice Nine Kills, who are known for writing songs about horror movies, released "A Work Of Art" about the Terrifier franchise. The song can be heard in the background when Jonathan walks in on his roommate and roommate's girlfriend. USA today has named Terrifier 3 as one of the top 10 most highly anticipated horror films of 2024 The shower scene was leaked on KZbin on October 8, 2024 In the scene involving the character "Burke" played by Chris Jericho, he is using a cup with the Stone Cold Steve Austin logo on it David Howard Thornton's second Christmas slasher film where he plays the killer, his first being The Mean One (2022). Also, both films feature Thornton's character donning a Santa suit to kill their victims.

The reason I enjoyed the 1st film so much was because it felt more grounded in reality. It really felt like there could be a sick twisted killer out in the night preying on victims. For me it felt creepiest for that reason.. I love the setting, the building felt like art’s personal maze, the gritty grainy look it had and watching him play mind games with everyone was very entertaining. I feel like his performance was so well done that a plot wasn’t even needed. Reminds me of the original Halloween when Myers was just a killer on the loose stalking a random girl. Not much plot was there but his presence was deeply felt. Same for terrifier 1

My Biggest issue/ question about the movie has to do with the beginning. Why did Art and Vicky need to take a 5 year nap in the abandoned house? After dying in T1, Art didn't need a nap when he was resurrected, he went straight to a laundrymat, then got right back to it. I think the writers wanted there to be a 5 year gap, which works well for Sienna/ Jonathan, but there's no tangible way for that big of a time jump to work with Art in a way that makes sense.

My favorite "iconic weapon" in horror flicks has been Art's trash bag since T2. He might carry Freddy's gauntlet in there....

Dude The Bridge Too Body Island is the short story The Bye bye man comes from and it legitimately fucked me up a little bit. Highly recommended

The lore is deep in this one and I love it, LOVED the religious imagery, btw the pale girl is Victoria, or rather IN Victoria, she gets possessed when she gives birth to Art's head in the previous movie, also Art has always been demonic, watch the short fil the 9th Circle of Hell and All Hallows Eve, fun fact the book the woman on the bus in the end was a nod to the 9th Circle of Hell, so yeah it's canon

Talking about editing a couple of scenes are rushed or choppy. Like the sword scene. Hope there is a Director's cut of T3... for Leone has said a lot of scenes end up on the floor, trying to make it short, specially in the end; cause one of the biggest complaints about T2 was its length.

Sienna's characterization was genuinely amazing. They did something I never saw a Slasher movie do before and explore the final girl's trauma in great detail. But yes, I was a Terrifier 2 truther from day 1. I loved all the lore they added. Victoria is ok, but the final girl of the OG should've been her sister Tara😛 I loved the mall bomb too lol

Saying that the Terrifier films feel like a mini series is good insight. They do have a more direct continuity than other franchises do.

I'm actually the opposite andi liked Terrifier 2 better than 1. I found the first enjoyable and it laid the foundations for 2 and 3 but 2 and 3 actually had more of a plot and protagonist. And I gotta say Sienna is probably my favorite 'Final Girl' heroine of all time. I really root for her and feel for her and she can be extremely badass. this series just keeps getting better and better so i'd say bring on Terrifier 4!

I think of course the FX team did a great job without Leone, who only supervised. A bit too much blood... you know. Don't get me wrong... I like blood in bucket... Like in the remake of Evil Dead and such, but there was just too much sometimes in T3, taking away a bit of it.

I realized a few days afterwards, my fav kill was the tube hammered down the throat with the rats. I forgot it even happened but then I just realized I was blocking it out because it was so intense lol. I give Terrifier 3 a 9/10 overall, excellent film.

When does the opening scene take place as it’s Christmas morning in the opening scene, so that’s after the end scene lol but he’s got no blood on his face and got his Santa outfit back

Shower scene was definitely my favorite, BUT, this is a very close 2nd kill, the very beginning when he's axing the dad in bed, and there's a shot of the axe coming down on his face/neck...oh my god! It looked so real! The extra make up team he hired was PHENOMENAL.

The plot of Terrifier 1 is basically 2 ladies try to get home from a Halloween party and things go horribly wrong. The great thing about the first film was how creepy Art was. The scene where he gets in the car with the blond girl was shocking.

It seems like they're picking up threads from all hallows eve. One of the demons in this one directly looks like the creatures in one of the shorts in that film

Finally got to watch it. The Santa scene was good. It felt like it had the second ones humor with the first ones grittiness. Only other time Art shot someone was in the first one. Really looking forward to 4. They doing something special with this series.

didn't he shoot someone in the 2nd? in the car in the garage scene?

I’m confused why art didn’t attack sienna while she was tryna get gabby, why run away at the moment u have her the most vulnerable, but also now she is really all alone and has no one which is the state they wanted her in , so now they can take over her, so why would he run away when sienna is how they wanted her to be lol… I ain’t a fan of when movies do stuff that don’t make sense to keep the main character alive.

That simp Art did for Santa was pure gold, and by far the best scene of this movie! Also, every time Art slaps Sienna's head in the final act I just lost it! I can't call it better than Terrifier 2, Christ sakes Allie's mangled face is on my arm, but I can confidently say me and my fiance had far more fun in the theater with this!!! That head flesh rip thooooo 💀💀💀

There is a lot to talk about with this movie, but I guess I'll just stick with my differs in opinion (no shade). My mom had said the same thing about Art using guns, but I understand why he pulled a gun in the bar scene probably because the other guys that weren't the santa could've called the police. I didn't mind that also I saw it coming. The mall scene (that I was highly anticipating) was very disappointing to me and almost not needed. When I (accidentally) found out a mall scene was going to be involved, I was like omg yes he's going to be the mall santa and massacre these kids! Once the kid had that present in his hand, I knew immediately it was going to be a bomb. I was disappointed because I feel like the bomb was even more of a cop out than using a gun. I expected the mall scene to be crazy. Not that bombs aren't crazy, I just expected something different. I had a hard time digesting this movie after the first watch leaving the theatre. I was very unsettled because of a lot of new loose ends etc. There is a lot of things I still want to have conversations with people about it, but ultimately it was an amazing film. You can obviously tell the upgrade in production quality and it is very exciting to see that an indie film maker is now at the top of the box office out running some of the most highly anticipated movies of the year. I'm so happy for the cast and crew and can't wair for 4.

Savini isn't the only cameo. Clint Howard, Daniel Roebuck, and Krsy Fox (check out BURY THE BRIDE and her new one on Shudder, LITTLE BITES; she's POWERMAN 5000 frontman Spider One's partner). Oh, and Jason Patric from THE LOST BOYS as Sienna's dad!

Dude this movie made me laugh so fucking much. The way she is tied down watching her mom going through that and he just walks by and softly smacks the back of her head made me and my buddy crack tf up. Definitely best one yet. Kills and humor were 10/10

And I was in a theater of about 20 people, by the end, about 13-14 was left for the whole movie.
