Otherwise nobody (except Elon haters ;-) will want to buy their cars anymore... From that moment, the EU politicians will scramble to not stay behind, especially if also China allows it… Through the CCAM organisation, the political agenda will be putting pressure on all EU member states to prepare a simple regulation for Fully Autonomous Vehicles. Forget about the regulations about ADAS in Europe! FSD is not an ADAS system but an ADS. You want news from FSD to Europe I have some and it’s not looking as good as you want no FSD outside the highway here’s more There will be two versions of the DCAS regulation in play from September 2025, known as the 00 series and the 01 series. It is not unusual for the UNECE to have different versions of the same regulation active at the same time. They do this for other regulations. Changes to these regulations are known as "Supplements". These supplements can contain many other changes but I am only concentrating on SIM here. The 00 series of the DCAS regulation will be sunset, leaving only the 01 series as the valid DCAS regulation. The sunset date will be decided in the GRVA meeting later this month. I expect it will be set for about 5 years time. The 00 series - SIM not allowed In force since September 2024 Supplement 1 to 00 series has been produced and had a successful adoption vote in November 2024. Expected in force June 2025. Supplement 2 to 00 series has been produced and has gone to the GRVA in January 2025 as a formal document for review. No estimate yet on when this may come in to force. The 01 series - SIM allowed Currently allows SIM on highways only. Adoption vote scheduled for March 2025. Expected in force September 2025 Supplement 1 to 01 series has been produced but has no further update on SIM. Expecting it will go to the GRVA in January 2025 as an informal document for review. No estimate yet on when this may come in to force. SIM on non-highways A supplement to the 01 series will eventually allow SIM on non-highways but currently it remains under discussion by the ADAS Task Force as there is no consensus on how to handle this.

non vedo l'ora che arrivi.... spero in uno sconticino. Per me 7500 euro di aggiornamento software son tantini😂. Fossero almeno trasferibili da auto ad auto , cioè con il collegamento software al proprio account e non all'auto. Così cambiando tesla ti rimane l'aggiornamento 😂

The software will function only in the US and Canada, once the gps determines that the car has left North America, the FSD will not function. This could be a Tesla Italy test car for testing FSD in Italy

When it's hw3, it's FSD 12.3 or older. Anyway, it's not the far superior FSD 13 that only works on hw4.

Apart from the fact that unfortunately, FSD is not available in Italy, I think the important thing to point out is that a Tesla car is technically able to drive autonomously today, it is only a matter of regulations if it doesn't drive today in FSD. We all need to push the regulators to make it happen.
