Tesla Model 3 Performance Rear Drive Unit failure after 6 months!

Sorry about the click bait thumbnail pic! Did I tell you about the time that my 6 months old Tesla broke down on me just after 6 months. The car just shut down on me like a smart phone. It was a rear Drive Unit malfunction/failure. Had to be taken out of a low ceiling car park using specialist machinery. Towed to Tesla who replaced the drive unit!

Just had to have my drive unit replaced. I bought a used 2022 model 3 not even a month ago and had mine breakdown on the side of the road.

Just lucky that it’s within warranty, dread to think this happens one’s warranty’s out.
