Tesla Model Y Curb Rash Alternative Paint Solution

Back in November 2020 I uploaded a video on how to fix your Model Y curb rash using Rustoleum Matte Wheel paint, but either supply chain issues or the fact that my video was so successful :) has caused this paint to be in short supply. As a result, I have been looking at other paint sources, and found a viable alternative.

Still can't find anywhere if this color (or the original one you recommended ) matches the 21" Uberturbine on the model y performance?

I don’t think it matches. I now have the Uberturbine wheels, but haven’t scratched them yet, so I haven’t been able to test. Once I get my first scratch, look for a corresponding video. I am in no hurry tho. :)

I would go with the Rustoleum as my first choice, but if you had to use the Krylon, it is a close second. Both match extremely well for the 20” induction rims.
