There is one extra bolt hiding under the reflector on the door trim, other than that, just about the same.

Nice video! If you only want to change the door panel because it is damaged, is that little wire easy to unplug to just replace the door panel without removing the window regulator closeout?

Hi! Im a workstation trainer here at tesla. When it comes to replacing the panel there is a total of 5 connections to be made from the window module*** ( that’s the name we really call it here at the factory). They’re easy to unplug as long as you be very careful not to damage any connectors. Each is color coordinated and easy to replace once new door panel is aquired. If you have any questions let me know I’m more than happy to answer them.

Hi buddy. This video is extreme helpful! I found my rear window is rattling around. Do I only need to tighten up the two screwers that holding the glass?

@@danielsiffredi8403 I tried it last night. The glass is still rattling. The bolts are very tight alright. Seems to the regulator’s issue.

I would be very careful putting too much torque on the bolts holding the glass, if you strip them you won't be able to tighten the glass. If you can't move the glass around I doubt it is these bolts.

I just took the plunge and dismounted the whole enchilada, checked the mechanism and nothing so I re assembled everything back and the problem is fixed. No more rattle when opening or closing the door. Took me a couple of hours especially to set the glass properly since you can shift it front or backwards. But all good

Update on this thread: ends up getting window regular placed at SC. 1 hour appointment. After that the window is not rattling anymore.

That is right! Pretty easy, do not overtighten the bolts when you put them back in.
