Love those vinyl warps and mats, great match with the Quicksilver. I’ve only seen one in person in Quicksilver so far and that was on Netherlands plates! Hoping to get a Model Y next year and definitely the best colour for me.

Thanks for the upload. I just got the same car here in the States around the same time as you. Mine being the stealth gray performance. Driven it from Vegas to San Francisco. I’ve noticed your car came with Pirelli’s, while mine came with Michelin’s. Not sure how hot it gets by you, but I also recommend getting a dash cover and roof shade for hot summers.

In May I took delivery of a stealth grey MYP, it came with Hankooks. I’m very happy with these tires, quiet and good steering accuracy.

Great video! We ordered a new Quicksilver with white interior and tow hitch M-Y Performance that should be delivered later this week. We’ll probably swap the wheels before we sell our blue w/ white int. 2020 M-Y Performance because I really like our 20” matte black MW03 Martian Wheels with 265-40-20 tires over the stock 21” with super low profile tires. @@Wqs.youtube Yes, we have the same 20x9.5 wheels on all 4 corners, and same size tires all around. I am considering trying 275-40-20 next, but am hesitant to do that because the 265-40-20 set has worked so well. For some reason I’ve seen 275’s priced lower, and Martian’s website says they’d work.

I have the same mats here in the US. Really snug and easy to clean. I’m getting that camera cover….crazy that they turn off auto pilot if you have violations while driving

When you say “five strikes and you’re out”, what exactly does that mean? Does it stop you driving the car?

Hi - it means that if you get 5 warnings the car won’t operate in autopilot and Tesla ban you for a week then you are back to zero strikes at the end of the week

I had my old car for 2 years and 53,000 miles had no issues at all just changed the washer fluid and the tyres 😂

@@umphlett1 both cars looks stunning however I found the black to be really hard to maintain in regards to paintwork. Black shows up stone chips and swirl marks no matter how hard you try and keep on top of it. Silver looks stunning and the paint work is a lot better to maintain. You don’t get swirl marks at all. If was going to have another black car I would definitely get PPF on the whole front end As it messes with your brain when you start to see all the imperfections you will get with a black Tesla. Hope it helps 👍

I have heard rumblings they will replace seat sensors with "in cabin camera monitoring" ... not good for us who cover the camera !

Just done the latest update and it gives you a little bit more leniency then what it did before it’s not as aggressive but still not as good when you cover the camera lens. They will always think of something to be ahead of of the game 😀

They changed the suspension in the builds after 2023. That explains why it's smoother to ride.

How often do you take advantage of the extra acceleration/performance? I have an LR and the speed is intoxicating, so I'm not sure the extra second to 60 be too noticeable. Is it for you? Of course, I only really use it to impress a friend.

Hi I’ve come from a 2022 Model Y Long range and the acceleration is completely different the 0-60 time difference is 1.2 seconds however it’s the punch from the start that puts a smile on your face where on the log range you don’t get that so much. The whole drive feels a lot more responsive in the performance and it can get you out of some predicaments you may find yourself in a lot quicker. Going around long and short bends is where you feel a huge difference the Performance just glues itself so much better. On the new performance model I’ve noticed the range is just as good as my long range model. Check a video out I did on my channel and you will be able to see how well it does. The only time I floor it is when I’m showing people what it does and how it does it. Or I find myself in a wrong lane and I need to rectify it quickly. Feel free to ask any further questions

I’ve had 4 Tesla’s and all of them have had back interiors with the exception of my 22 Model Y which was white. I like both interiors for different reasons. on the quicksilver I thought the back looked better but it’s down to personal choice for everyone I suppose

I was shocked as well !! The ride seems smoother and absorbs the road more than what my old Model Y did, and I had recently replaced my tyres on my old Y.

@@SocraticBruin - I got my wrap done at a place called Essex tints. Any car wrapping business near you will be able to help. I had the sides and the dash and also the full centre console and the 2 front window tinted for £200 which I thought was a really fair price and they did a cracking job

Yeah model 3 and model Y come from Shanghai they have been for a few years now. Regarding HW4 the Model Y started getting it from around 2023 I think but I can assure you my 2024 defiantly has HW4 as it sates that on the service schedule that you can enter with a password and it also has the right light on the sensors

You should have it ! Just so there is no confusion park assist isn’t auto park. Park assist is the new graphics that show you your surroundings as you are parking. Car spaces, walls, fences etc so you can see from a Birds Eye view on how you are parking. Hope this helps 👍

Great question - i part exchanged my 2022 Long Range for the performance. I got a great deal on my trade in, more than I thought I would so I put that money towards the performance. Suppose it’s down to budget really

I used to have a model 3 performance and it wasn’t nowhere as near a comfortable ride as my Model Y Performance. And my long range Model Y was definitely a stiffer ride. Maybe you are right as Tesla seem to do a lot of things under the radar 👍
