Are they working on a neural network like Tesla? That's where the money is at. Hardware is the easy part, software (AI) is the hard part. BD been around way before tesla and where are their robots? They cannot do general task, they are programmed to do specific task. I don't want a robot to be flipping around the house, I want a robot that will be able to take commands and do general task that are useful. That's the difference

Yes I watch them as well, sad how far behind they are although they have been at it longer than Tesla.

@@rp9674 look at the deep blue computer that started beating chess masters at their own game. The tech is barely in its infancy but soon AI will be everywhere. You'll actually be able to have a conversation with it unlike the crap that is out now. Fsd is not here because it's never been done before but if things keep progressing it'll be here just like airplanes are now. We have had robots for decades in South Africa. The direct traffic at large intersections. Okok the rest of the world call it traffic lights, but we call it robots. If the US can use miles and gallons we can call it robots.

All that whooping and screaming was so embarrassing. It's not like it was Steve Jobs announcing something amazing, like the iPhone.. it was a sluggish airport shuttle, which looked very peculiar and impractical. As Miranda Priestly would have commented: "Ground-breaking..."

If they have level 5, why isn't it in cars already. What's the point of rubovine, you save the labor of one unemployed driver for a shuttle bus, the driver is not what keeps people from riding a bus now. Humanoid robots are very impractical, there's a reason there aren't legs on cars.

Yeah I get Elon isn't perfect but people ignore all the great things he's done in the past and trying to do because he misses on timelines etc. They focus on his mistakes and/or missed timelines etc. instead of looking at the bigger picture and literally ignoring all the good he's done. Literally caught starship booster the other day. Jesus Christ can come back today and these people will find a way to bad mouth him as well saying things like why u wait so long to co back 😂 not that I believe in him but that's an example. Cup half empty kinda people.
@MacDaddy82003 ай бұрын
@@frankhtlllful He sure sucks at deadlines, according to the timeline he presented to get 4 billion USD taxpayer money said Starship would go to the moon in 2025 and catching the booster arent even the hard part. We need to see Starship land and not start to burn up under reentry, they havent even had any cargo onboard, not to mention refueling in space is a requirement to get to the moon and that has never been done. I love watching the progress but it wont go to the moon this decade with current development speed. Its great he has big ideas but its not much he actually accomplished yet. Tesla was started by two other guys and he bought it he was never a founder, and FSD is still a mess 8 years after his lofty promises.

@frankhtlllful3 ай бұрын
@@MacDaddy8200 if catching the booster isn't that hard then why hasn't anyone else done it? It save companies a ton of money so if it was that easy every one would do it yet no one is doing it except SpaceX. Just like everyone is starting to copy tesla with the castings for their cars because it saves money and actually attainable to do. Sure fsd is promised for a while but it's never been done before. Forgive the man for miscalculating a timeline on something that hasn't ever been done before. Like if it was something that has been done before it's more understandable to be frustrated but it hasn't been done before and like the booster if u can solve autonomy you make a ton of $$ So I ask you again why hasn't anyone done self driving yet if there's so much money to be made?? Because it isn't easy and because it's never been dkne before 🤷🤔

It was misleading, he wanted the audience to think the robots were already autonomous. Next day many influencers that attended were saying things like "I was impressed, I didn't think the robots were that advanced, answering and interacting so naturally". And that was the intention.

i think that most people missed the big disclaimer at the begining of the event (before the streaming started). It prettu much said the whole thing was aspirational, and sure enough, it was, no specs, just “hopes and hype.” Maybe just a deflection to avoid getting sued for fraud for the never arriving FSD… just a litlle more time to ensure that HW3 owners have switched vehicles and lose their right to sue… FSD still a scam.. i’m one of the suckers :D 😂
