If you added a pleather flap at the bottom, maybe velcro’d to the chrome bar that the seatback hooks over and with straps and buckles for underneath the seat?

I was thinking they could do the carbon fiber shell as the actual backbone of the seats and just pad them with whatevs memory foam and faux leather. Instead of an anvil of steel since tesla seats are apparently crazy heavy.

I've been waiting for the full carbon fiber seat backs... I got sick of waiting and ended up getting the one's that go over the existing seat back (stick on) and retains the holder. 😑. Well, glad they finally came out.

I bought a brand new 2019 ram 1500 laramie and it sure as hell has many problems. People are really only complaining about the BRAND NEW model Y.

100% agreed. i was being sold these same ones, but with gloss and they were a grand... for my P3D... i couldnt justify the price. I mean, in 2-3 years, im sure this price will be easily $200.. and the fact that we paid so much for this car, and on top of that, im already about to upgrade to MYP (model y performance).. so i dont think its worth it. the ones im talking about that were a grand were from this guy who did them manually, seats, steering wheel w/ leather and different colors, etc.. and various other parts of the car. All custom. I found him on IG.

FYI, i dont know if anyone knows, but apparently, there is this new TESLA KEY RING... apparently, if your phone or card doesnt work, you can use a ring or bracelet on you to open both Model Y and 3 doors.... interesting.
