Last year I rented a Lincoln Navigator with Blue Cruise and what he describes is spot on! When I activated Blue Cruise it was very persistent in wanting my hands on the steering wheel. The previous year I rented a Cadillac Escalade and on the same 12 hour roadtrip It was a champ at sustaining hands free cruise without issue for a huge percentage of the trip. Best of all, Super Cruise handled lane changes like a champ. These systems are all data driven and so I have no doubt Blue Cruise will get there and I've heard 1.3 is good, but without question IMHO Super Cruise is superior with now 5+ years of data feeding its system

With Super Cruise, will it automatically adjust to a changing speed limit? When the speed limit changes from 70 to 60, will the speed adjust automatically? The Mercedes system will do this. Thanks.

His feedback on blue cruise is accurate from my experience driving both and by the way Tesla autopilot is no better than the ford offering. Many reviewers have shared this same feedback.
Should probably look into a Comma 3x running Openpilot. Works for 250 different car models. Probably better than both these options.

I haven’t heard of the comma available for a f250 or the 2500 yet. Could you point me in the right direction? I am a comma user with my grand Cherokee but I’m waiting on a compatible f250 bc I’m not interested in the bluecruise.

Great video, what engine do you have in the truck?

It is the small diesel.

As a Ford F150 owner, that wasn’t Blue Cruise you used. When on roads that aren’t Blue Cruise mapped, standard lane keep assist kicks in, and that is a bit naggy if you’re on a straight road, but as long as the system is on a blue cruise mapped road, as long as you’re looking forward, there’s no nagging from the system whatsoever.

I have both and GM Super Cruise is so much better than Ford Blue Cruise. No contest there.

if you can't use your phone what the point of having it drive itself? You mine as well drive if you are sitting there.

Sounds like you didn't have Blue Cruise activated properly. There is a difference between using driver assist lane keeping assistant feature, which cues you to keep hands on the wheel every 10 to 15 second. Blue Cruise allows you to go hands off and even displays it on the dash. Hands Free. Sounds like you didn't experience it and missed out on properly knowing how it works. Maybe you could revisit Ford and this time use this feature rather than assume and degrade them for something you overlooked or assumed was true Blue Cruise.

I was using Blue Cruise but every 50 feet the mapping was wrong. Drive assist cruise control worked better.

Can %100 confirm that he did not have blue cruise hands free properly activated.

Edmunds did a comparison test of 4 self drive systems, and you can see here blue cruise is hands free. That being said, GMC came out on top. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoPEY6B3aMahba8si=Y4SIS5c9BOdM2Jsq

Bluecruise shines on unmapped road. On unmapped road, supercurise cannot offer any features including lane centering

BlueCruise Is a joke compared to Tesla Full Self Driving, which is amazing.
