I sure would like for someone to make a video directly comparing the Tesla software interface and features to other EV brands. Comparisons on: Speed of interface, intuitiveness, ease of finding a feature, number of features that are available. The reason is that unless a person has driven an EV they may have no idea how many more things an EV can do.... it's not just the same as an ICE car but with an electric motor in it.... it's a freaking cell phone and theatre on wheels!

That's why I went with SG rather than ur for the color. The red is gorgeous but having a grey car that conceals the fact it's a performance model unless you see the brake calipers makes it a total stealth performer.

Well most probably this guy neither has any idea of cost and money thrown out of the window. I have with 54 years of mostly German premium. Investing in ordinary cars is absolutely stupid just because it makes noise if you drive only on public roads. That is absolutely stupid but industry likes stupid slaves of oil sheiks. We produce our own electricity and also consume it freely. With petrol cars you are NEVER FREE but our Kia made us free from any troubles for two years now and we never had other ‚premium‘ without any problem. Only the time losses even on all the warranty repairs would have allowed a second wife and the villa at the beach😂 With our fleet starting in 2008 with a promotion car and step by step electrify the fleet we save a high 30% value including even PV, chargers and powerwall amortization and my own Kia EV6 AWD with ‚only‘ 333 PS/608 Nm drives nearly for free with the drivetrain from former M-Sports Boss for 30 years Albert Biermann and it drives like an M BMW on racetrack. 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds is good enough for me and it wanted a unique and special design and I needed a talegate for our dog. But also my wife has problems with all kind of screens which makes it dangerous for her to drive our Teslas. Therefore she has chosen a Fiat 500e 3+1 La Prima by Bocelli which is a little nice luxury EV making about 270 km per charge! Not a Tesla but something we miss in Tesla. But Volkswagen, Mercedes and BMW have no design, nothing that is cute and charming and nothing that is potent to impress also with value for money. Audi with the e-Tron GT (The name was to ridicule Peugeots Race car at LeMans and means in French 💩) is for many customers crap as my friends was standing 6 months at the workshop for technical problems they claim being solved with refreshed model now, but my friend claimed money back and bought an S Plaid instead. Not so refined Bavarian Baroque interior but working fine and of very good finition and Sandy Munro would be proud again. And I forgotten about price. For the fully equipped Porsche Taycan or Audi I get at least three fully equipped Kia EV6 AWD or two GT also with some 585 PS. Or a MS Plaid and a M3 for the son or so… without Mate Rimac Porsche would not even have experts for real fast EV near and Ferdinand’s Lohner EV dates back some 120 years! So why should someone believe in German engineering when the best are working now in Korea or China where they can build on a lot of completely new expertise, so Kia has the 800 Volts system only found in the most expensive German makes and heat pump here as standard etc. plus 7 years of warranty. Europe and mainly Germany loses just 50% of total profits in China and younger rich buy national or Tesla but no more outdated EQE/EQS that even have no frunk and an A/C that reminds engineering from Volkswagen Golf entry version. Also the later has nothing to attract like a Tesla and have shown in Peking a car that is completely BYD or Tesla but by no mean has any resemblance to a former Volkswagen 🧬 So only BMW has some competitive EV. In Germany however they have so many believers buying even bad local, sabotage factories with paid ‚eco‘-terrorists- what a hypocrite joke🤡👿 - and people started to scratch Teslas to test security systems and police. That is really insane development towards a new Hitlerarian society with the brown dirt and instead of Jewish shops they destroy Tesla cars as a new sport for idiots and nobrainers and they think to safe employs that way, but they go to China, Korea, Vietnam and Thailand with educated and motivated peoples😂 So keeping on ICE is the worst self destructive mean to kill legacy auto!

Thanks for hopping the pond and popping up in Muskegon. The "Be Nice!" you gave me was one of the things that made the 800-ish mile drive up from Alabama worth it. The gathering was a great experience. But then, I even enjoyed LIDAR Guy's off-putting statements and questions during the megapanel Q&A, so I guess my bar for having a good time was pretty low. :) My only regret is that I had to retreat back to my car for most of the Saturday presentations, I just couldn't handle the the direct sun. Maybe future event admins will consider doing an FM broadcast for us car-bound wimps. :/ But once again, thanks for coming over to the US and sharing your enthusiasm, experience and insights with us.

When I was a child we used to put a strip of card on the back wheel that made a noise when the wheel turned and it made a noise a bit like an ice car, brum brum. I grew out of this when I turned 15. Seems like some petrol heads never grew up

The regenerative braking slows the car as fast as it speeds it up. You can zip to 90 in an instant to pass some traffic and then ease up on the accelerator to get back to cruising speed. Perfecto!

BBC’s ‘Top Gear’ are clowns, their criticisms of the Tesla 3P were: It didn’t make fake vrooming noises. It didn’t have a fake gear change. It was too heavy based on comparing with the BMW M3 dry weight, when loaded with fluids the M3 is heavier.

When Lars talks about the prices in Europe, it is important to know that prices in Europe INCLUDE VAT (Value added tax). In Denmark the VAT rate is 25%. In Germany it is 19%. So, the prices in Europe always include VAT. So there are no other sales taxes that need to be added on top like in the US. To make a proper one to one comparison of the actual net prices between Europe and the US, one should actually calculate out the VAT.
