TEST the Nikon D3S in Video with powerfull 58mm f/1.4 and 28mm f/1.4

Hi there,
Nice to see you again and today I show you the Video quality directly out of the Nikon D3S in 1280x720p using a Rode Microphone for the sound.
I find it far enough for making videos for your KZbin Channel for instance. What do you think?
I use in the first part the 58mm f/1,4G and the 28mm f/1,4G in the second part.

Finally got the time to watch your new video... As I told you... the 58 1.4 G is a killer!! Beautiful Bokeh! Yes f4 is more suitable for filming. Even for film on social media these days the D3s is more than enough. Better invest in a very good Mic. The only downfall with vlogging is that you can not auto focus with it. Chasjazzez yeah your first message about this 58mm made me put my interest again on it. In fact it’s not a long time since I have it and the shut down arrived. It’s not an excuse not tu use it and here is a very good application and opportunity to show its power. Yeah thanks for subscribing. He told you.... ;)

Aayush Khare hi thanks for watching! Yeah what you need is a stabilisation because hand held it’s not easy. D3S nor D750 are not champion of video. They manage to do some let’s say! ;)

I don't think the D3x has any video capability. If I'm wrong then it's because I was too lazy to search for it in the menus.

Cotictimmy of course you can make video with it. Active live view first and there you go ... In the custom setting menu / f1 / live view : select REC. In the shooting menu, go down to Movie settings to change some parameters Once you are in live view, presse the multi selector center button and you start the recording. It’s manual focus only and if you plug a microphone you will have a better sound quality. There is no stabilisation of the sensor and max definition is 1280 x 720 This is how I made this video!
