first off: this was at the THRASH OF THE TTANS, a benefit happened in 2001 for Chuck Billy, singer for TESTAMENT, and Chuck Schuldiner, mastermind behind DEATH. Billy was under chemo when he sang this. Secondly this song was written around 1988. Lamb of God where around kindergarden at the time, and I'm quite sure they worship TESTAMENT as well. Thirdly, why don't you all quit being whiney and just enjoy the metal? SADUS FOR LIFE!!!

Getting awards proves nothing, look at all the "awards" Korn and Slipcrap got ... it's the most commercial bands that get the awards, not the most talented ones. And anyway, Alex DID let them use this riff so everybody should stfu. And btw, Testament are one of the best metal bands ever. Into the pit is a thrash anthem. By the way, TESTAMENT rules! Chuck Billy is one of the best thrash metal singers out there so all you bastards who disrespect this man are not true thrash metal fans! This guy could even do death metal with such a voice. Remember that if bands like Testament were not there in the 80's and 90's to bring this new furious style called thrash, all current bands like LOG would be playing glam rock in a lousy club in LA with make-up on their face and they'd be dressed like pussies.
