Born a Chevy man . I definitely prefer manual.. lot of fun , more power, quicker and better gas mileage.. I like your post though.

I appreciate the unbiased opinion. I have been viewing TestDrivenTV for a while now and opened my mind to many different makes through Sam's reviews. The reviews are to the point and camerawork is clear with a professional aptitude. - Great job Sam!

This is such a great video, for a great car. I love my 2017. I've considered selling it, but nothing can beat it's purpose for me. Who needs BMW anyways?

Great Review Sam...its eery when you bring up the BMW comparo...nice looking but minimalistic interior, clean exterior and excellent driving dynamics...The sound of the V6 is very impressive...so much that I wonder if its not worth that vs the V8 alone for the handling. Im a Ford guy too but I think this would be an upgrade over a potential Mustang purchase.

Thoughtful and thorough review Mr. Haymart, good work. The V6 Camaro does impress, smart savings in purchase price and insurance. Wonder to what extent using premium fuel would improve its performance? Did TestDriven give it a run with 93 octane?

That was a huge diss right there! Saying the other V6 models are rental car quality compared to the Camaro V6. I mean common everyone has a dam V6 Charger so he just dissed everyone. I mean everyone is so in love with the Hellcat. But lets be real they all by a ricer V6 Charger.

I'd buy it too! except I have kids. wish they'd put this drivetrain/chassis in an affordable sedan. Where are the Buick versions of the ats/cts/ct6?
@TestDrivenTV9 жыл бұрын
+AlloyDiesel The Buick Avista concept from the Detroit Auto Show was this car in Buick trim, but a coupe. It the Avenir makes production, it would be exactly what you seek. The same engine will be turned sideways however in a number of GM front drivers though, including Chevrolet and Buick.

Good review Sam, but please STOP mentioning the Challenger (America's LAST true production MUSCLE CAR) when you do reviews of SPORTS CAR like the Camaro, & the Mustang. Completely different types of vehicles.
@misamisatv9 жыл бұрын
+H Mack As different as they are the Challenger competes for the same target consumer as the Camaro and Mustang, which is why they are often compared. I think it's time for Dodge to offer us something in the Sports Car segment other than the Viper. It would be nice to see the Challenger stop being a muscle car and move into the sports car category.

DOHC as Fords 5.0 V8. Fuck when will chevy go for DOHC V8 ??? Their old pushrods caught hard over 5000rpm.
@chrisinyaass75089 жыл бұрын
What makes you think that Dohc engines are something new and make the Pushrod obsolete? Dohc is tech that is just as old as Pushrods. The only real benefit is if Chevy decided to sale in a country that taxed the larger displacement engines.

ChrisInyaass™ yes most european countries does.....Mustang´s are very good sellers now since they sell them in the wholle world !

Eletric parking brakes in performance sports cars is useless imo.
@Baerchenization9 жыл бұрын
+JUKEBOXX1990 It is strange you should say that, because I use it all the time :) If it weren't there, I'd be like 'what the hell, where is the parking brake?! Every car needs to have a parking brake...' ;) Actually I prefer it over the old-style parking brake. Generally, I don't have to disengage it, it does that automatically when touching the gas pedal, a lot more convenient when you are stuck in a jam for an hour and would have to disengage like 200 times; and it also auto engages on an a slope for me - why would I yank on that big old brake like it is the 70s all over again? I keep hearing people don't like it - the only thing I haven't heard yet is why... "useless" - well, that was very informative. Here is one thing I don't like about it: the parking brake has another name, derived from its other function: it is an emergency brake! With an old style brake, you can adjust breaking pressure, release it, and brake multiple times; with the electronic one, it is all or nothing, if you engage it while at speed, that thing will throw the anker, that is even dangerous... I am even surprised that it is legal - if you perform a full brake like that, you might have cars following you crash in to you... who came up with this stupid idea?

crazy wheel Your point? That is the way it should be. Technology should fuckin advance. If you want a V6, good for you. I have no problem with that. I own a 2012 mustang gt (V8) and will be getting a 2016 camaro ss v8 (keeping stang). I WOULD NEVER GET A V6 when there is a v8 option. The only v6 I would get is the GTR. And the Ford GT which I can't fuckin afford anyways.
