That was so cool! I've always wanted to go to a con out in the States but have never been able to afford it. This gives a great sneak peek into what it's like! I was here! But on the Sunday. Sunday is great for walking the floor, great sales and light crowds, but the day was so short that there wasn't time for us to see panels after the floor. I went over three days last year, and I neeeed to go back to that next year for sure.

Whoever the person is on the Steadicam you are fucking flawless. For those who don't know it is not easy to pull off these movements.

CREDITS ROLL FILMS That's a Steadicam. But I don't doubt if it's been modified. The camera people I know they always modify their equipment to suit them.

theylied1776 this is definitely a small handheld gimbal, not a steadicam. It's either something like a DJI Osmo or a smaller DSLR gimbal. The jerky pans give away the lightweight gimbal. It's also clearly been post-stabilized.

You know what I don't see a lot of at conventions is Animaniacs characters, or like Earthworm Jim, or stuff like that. Animaniacs had so many notable characters as well that could be cosplayed. Yako, Whacko, Dot, Pinky and the Brain, The three pigeons, Rita the squirrel, HELLO NURSE, and many more. Just cartoons that maybe many watched as a kid and will remember but that are not that memorable today until somebody sees it and says, HEY I REMEMBER THAT GROWING UP. Like Street Sharks, Toxic Crusader, Snorks, Tail Spin, Duck Tales, The Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Rocco's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, etc.. Just things like those that not many people do at conventions but people would love to see them and remember them when they see them.

Thanks for the tour, but holy hell you need to get a camera that runs at a higher FPS or uses a codec that doesn't blur the frames so much. Every pan hurt my eyes because everything was so out of focus.

The Gimbel was getting away from the cameraman. It tilted too far up. Another issue is that many times Norm and Frank were talking about something, and the camera completely missed it. It's like the cameraman thought Norm and Frank were what the viewer wanted to see the most, and not what was at the show. They should have had a B camera shooting also to add some drop-in shots of actual attendees, and not just the "stars".

Rarely see puppeteer type cosplay actually. Like doc oct's hands, would it cool if they move as you move. Or like I'm working on is a Ghost Rider cosplay, everything is ok considering it's the new ver, but the flames, it's hard to find a good material to make flame effects as a cosplay. Sure resin is an option but that might be alil bit heavy. Also the fact how work the nose, like how to work the shape of the helmet/cosplay without ruining the proposition... other then that, there's not alot of Megazord cosplay.

The big convention experience, for those who have never been: Walk in, fight people to try and get around, in 15-20 minutes you've seen everything, stand in line for several hours for a 1 hour panel, buy overpriced food, your feet hurt, go to bed in a cheap hotel room.
