After collaborating with director Julian Curi in the making of a short animated scene, Adam receives the puppets created for that animation: one after his own likeness and the other capturing the look and personality of his dog Maggie. Adam couldn't be more delighted to have these in the cave and in his puppet collection!

I rescued a dog I named Lady Jaye back in 2018. Sadly, our time together would be cut short by a rapidly developing cancer in summer of 2020. But while we only spent a short time together, it was special. I gave her a loving home and she healed my heart from years of pain. She felt like a soulmate, and I’ll remember her always. I have had several monuments of art from friends come in, and they are all set up at her altar.

I swear, I was so focused on Adam, the box, and the shadow box, my brain just filled in the background as the "hardware store" side of the Cave. Towards the end, I saw the wood rack/storage, and had to go see if Adam changed locations from the beginning of the video. What a weird sensation to have my brain mess with me that hard.

Maggie reminds me so much of my Wryder who passed about this time 2 years ago. He lived until 18 and was a terrier mix (a mutt that looked a lot like Benji) and I was lucky enough to be a part of his (rescued) life for 15 of those years!!! He also was an amazing canine that thought he was human. I've never had human children of my own so I miss him terribly to this day. Thanks for sharing this.

Next month will mark one year since I had to say goodbye to my good girl Lucy. She was my best friend, my pal, my home girl, my rotten soldier, my sweet-cheese, my good time girl. Im STILL grieving, some days worse than others. Pulling into my driveway after a long work day is the worst because I know she's not at the door, waiting to greet me and melt all my troubles. The hairy mutt was with me through some really low points but together we were able to keep moving forward. I miss sitting on the couch with her, absentmindedly stroking her soft ears or rubbing her belly. I know the decision I made was the right one. My girl is no longer sick or in pain.... but 10 years together wasn't enough. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to sweet Maggie. Her puppet likeness is absolutely beautiful and looks just like her! Give her some love for me!

Hey Adam, long-time fan. A lot of these videos lately seem like content for the sake of content. Is there some sort of high pressure video output that is requiring you to make videos that are acceptable for the fan obsessive's, but disinteresting for the masses? I guess it's nice to hear that something makes you emotional as it humanizes you in the eyes of your fans, but overall, this doesn't have much to do with either the macroscopic or microscopic purpose of the channel. Ultimately you can do whatevet you like on your channel as it is your channel, but I'm really only here for the engineering, tool suggestions, and related career field advice, lol. JoAnne did a great job, but idk that I would have subbed if content like this is what your channel is about. It does however seem like good bonus content for the super-fans who sign up for your membership platform. They're kind of looking for that more 'what makes Adam tick?' niche content. Just my thought, feel free to disregard. I am patiently waiting to see the end of the mini vault. Very excited!
