All of these compact compressors are rebadged. This one looks just like the Ovaga 55 PSI compressor. Still, this is a good video highlighting cheaper alternatives. Not everyone needs a $300 compressor.

Looks like some great products. Thank you for the quick demo of them. And like always your videos I follow almost religiously for all the interesting products and paints you demonstrate. I just got my H&S Ultra 2024 along with a 6gallon compressor (overkill I know but the cheap compressor I got from Amazon was sputtering the air flow) and plan on doing a lot of spoons and practice exercises to get drawing at least somewhat decently with an airbrush.

@realstrikelureco28 күн бұрын
It will eventually, once the seals start to wear out and it can't keep the pressure consistent.
@RomoDJ137 күн бұрын
Mine constantly turns on and off and the pulsing is crazy. I emailed Gaaleri and this was what I was told. The pulsing behavior is due to the compressor’s automatic start-stop setting. This feature is designed to maintain optimal pressure: •When the internal pressure is sufficient, the compressor stops. •When the pressure drops below the required level, it restarts. Solutions: 1.Adjust the compressor to the lowest power setting. 2.Use an airbrush with a larger nozzle size or higher airflow requirement. 3.For more stable airflow, consider adding an air tank to regulate the pressure output. Maybe I got a lemon but my other mini compressor from Spraygunner only turn on when you press the airbrush trigger.

It's so hard to recommend anything but Gaahleri to beginners. Beginners are more likely to bonk the needle tip or be over ambitious cleaning it out and doing full tear downs when it's not necessary. That invites a lot of crushed seals or lost parts on the floor. Many brands in the entry level price range don't even have parts available.

Thank you for doing that demo of having the compressor on the floor, so many other creators who test these types of compressors will run the test with the compressor on their table/work bench which although that does help to show how loud the compressor is, it's also clearly not a fair representation what what it's actually like to have the equipment in the room but not directly on the workbench.

I was looking forward to seeing the storage case segment but was immediately disappointed when it started. Again packaging that is only for 2 needle and nozzle sets. Most airbrushes have 3 needle and nozzle sets and without dedicated storage for ALL 3, then at some point, sooner more likely than later, they are going to get mixed up. I'd also rather see the needle pockets sized to hold the plastic protective case, not just the needle itself. Without the protective case odds are that the fine, and probably even the medium needle are going to get bent and require replacement. (Or is that the idea to increase part sales? 🤔) Good concept but very poor execution...

Tankless air compressors are relatively junk. Eventually those "put puts" wear out and don't hold constant PSI. Gaahleri are nothing more than cheap Chinese airbrushes with a better chrome finish. I've been painting for 40yrs and airbrushing for 15+ so I've demoed a bunch of airbrushes. Even have the Swallowtail in the studio and all the cheap parts I have for $40 Chinese airbrushes fit it. Only difference is the nozzle. Thats not enough to pay twice as much for a cheap airbrush. Step up your game and look at the No-Name mini gun (same concept as that swallow tail) $200 gets you a high quality airbrush/gun that feels like a quality piece of equipment. Gaahleri trigger airbrushes feel cheap, especially the handles. The only bonus if you already have one is you can buy cheap Chinese cups and they fit.
