Very impressive! Currently showing on UK Amazon at £75.99, add on an online moisture trap + quick release and it's still under £100. It looks and performs far better than the rubbish I was sold by a reputable model shop when I returned to the hobby, this would have ticked all the boxes. I would consider getting it as part of a modelling travel kit. Thank you for another great review.

I purchased one when they released it. I am very impressed with it, and it is becoming my daily driver for painting vs my main compressor. I did add an inline moisture trap as I live in Texas and we have high humidity. What i like about this is that it is also portable, and it is easy to see the pressure.

This looks like a great product and I was expecting a price between £150 -£200 so i was gobsmacked and $90 , which for me puts it into the wish list for Christmas. Another great review in the Model Kit Stuff encyclopedia of knowledge.

Loving the size of the compressor. My bench is set so that I have to do the minimum amount of movement to reach anything I might want. My spraybooth is in the utility room, because there is space for the compressor with tank and the spraybooth with an extra part to double the spray area. Your comment about well made is good. All of their products feel like quality products. Yet lately I’ve seen a plethora of people on KZbin who admit not owning one, stating it must be rubbish, it’s made in China. Now 20 years ago, maybe even 10 that may have been true but nowadays there are many engineering and manufacturing companies using modern CNC equipment and the like that can produce high quality items at a massive saving over production costs in the West. I have particularly seen what can only be described as fanboys of a couple of expensive high end airbrush producers, that criticise Gaahleri out of hand that they’re made in China and cheap, and no better than the $30 brushes n Amazon and they dismiss out of hand and don’t believe the testers opinion. I find it sad when people think it’s clever to behave like this.

I like this very much. I currently do my modeling in the garage and this time of the year it can get pretty cold. This could allow me to bring at least some of it inside the house. Since this doesn't have a tank, do you notice any pulsation in the air flow? Thanks for the great review.

I shall echo that, I spray in the garage but in the winter it is far too cold, this could easily be used indoors,with a spraybooth of coarse, thanks for the review.

great question, there will obvously be some pulsation. I looked carfully at the spraf patern and i could not see any and there was no witness of it on the paint going down, so dont belive it effects the ability of the unit

I have yet to see a tankless compressor that doesn't create pulsation in the airflow. I've had a few, and they all got returned. Every time I listen to a review of these, i am totally skeptical anymore. That said, I do like their airbrushes.

Obviously that’s going to be the case with no tank but it’s not detectable, I was looking for it.

Mine constantly turns on and off and the pulsing is crazy. I emailed Gaaleri and this was what I was told. The pulsing behavior is due to the compressor’s automatic start-stop setting. This feature is designed to maintain optimal pressure: •When the internal pressure is sufficient, the compressor stops. •When the pressure drops below the required level, it restarts. Solutions: 1.Adjust the compressor to the lowest power setting. 2.Use an airbrush with a larger nozzle size or higher airflow requirement. 3.For more stable airflow, consider adding an air tank to regulate the pressure output. Maybe I got a lemon but my other mini compressor from Spraygunner only turn on when you press the airbrush trigger and turns off when releasing the trigger.

Thats ussual behavour for a tank compressor, I have to say I have not had that happen on this but perhaps need to use it in a more extended session, intresting

I have used mine a few times now and not had that experience. My tank compressor does as you describe, that’s normal, but not had it with this one.

@@ModelkitStuff may need to investigate more. Maybe an airbrush compatibility thing. I have a Grafo with a 0.15 that has no issues, a Squidmar 2024 with a 0.2 and Creos 0.18 that constantly pulses on testing. Will need to test on 0.3 and 0.4 needle.

Just wondering if this compressor will be available as a stand alone product? I already have a couple of their Mobius brushes… and an Iwata Eclipse so don’t need another one. I have asked Gaahleri by email a couple of weeks ago when Barbatorus Rex reviewed it but haven’t heard back.

Hi Jason, nice little set up for a beginner also compact enough to take in the bottom of a tool box for use at model club events. I have 2 questions. 1 what is the pressure range? 2 will the GHAD 39 fit in the airbrush holders?
