There are two types of peaches -white are table eating and yellow are canning.
@bloodgain3 ай бұрын
@@EmeraldHill-vo1cs I'm not sure who started that, but it's not true _at all._ I live in one of the biggest peach-producing areas of the country, and color has nothing to do with whether peaches are good out-of-hand. Most peaches are yellow, including most varieties that are great eaten fresh. White peaches tend to be more mild and delicate in texture, so they often don't hold up as well when cooked, so the only true part about that is that white peaches are usually better eaten raw than cooked with. However, the yellow peaches you get in the store usually aren't very good, because the varieties are chosen for transportability and picked way under-ripe, so those usually _are_ best processed or cooked with sugar. But a yellow peach at a farm stand within 50 miles of where it was picked will probably be the best thing you ever put in your mouth.

The potato scrubber might have been designed for a (probably) smaller woman's hand. We re-use a lot of grocery bags, mostly for garbage, kitty litter & doggie do. I double them as many have little holes. Then fold in half long way, then continue to fold a few more times, then flatten. I pile them up then put in another plastic bag with the handles inside bag. Looks neater, easy to use, just pull out one & open up to use.

I live in the UK and those cold strips can be found pretty much everywhere, I don’t know if you got a bad batch or something because they are usually really sticky and won’t peel. I also have had ones that you put on your forehead that works great for the Flu and headaches.

My washing machine has adjustable feet so its been levelled and the door won't swing shut on its own. A level washer also helps reduce the wobble from a spin cycle.

I got one of those 3d sleep masks, and it takes some adjusting to get it right if you are a stomach sleeper like me. I got one because I was convinced my regular mask usage was the cause of my eyelashes becoming practically nonexistent, and the 3d does keep it from rubbing my lashes. Nothing I've used to cut a pizza has proven more effective or easier to store than my Ulu knife. Joie makes some of the cutest kitchen accessories on the market, but not always the most effective or sturdy. I like the way you ranked them - I have several extremely effective kitchen gadgets that I just never bother to use because it's not worth the effort to dig them out/ wash them/ store them.

Where I work plastic bags are still king, you have to ask for paper bags or buy re-usable. The free plastic bags are just very very slim and often have to use 2 or 3 to bag something heavy. Since I work there I dont save any of them.. You could take a box of thousands if you wanted.

The best item that you showed in the past for cutting pizza was the scissors with the spatula attached to it that was able to cut a slice of pizza and then to serve the pizza. I use a kitchen utility scissors to cut my pizza all the time but it's difficult to slide it under the slice of pizza in order to serve it

For the love of Dog, man, make Bailey some puppy-pops!!!! It's really easy - just get her favorite all-natural juice (or the fruit itself and juice it yourself, whichever) and mix it with some water and pop it in an ice cube tray!! When you give it to her, just pop a few into her water bowl :)

I should make some popsicles for my friends new pup. Before he passed his older dog absolutely loved ice. I was on a bit of a scow cone kick so I brought my ice shaver over & made him his own unflavored snow cones. Max would eat an entire pile of just shaved ice. But maybe I'll cheat & use some pulverized canned dog food just to see if Peanut likes it first.
