I looooove the curl defining gel, but that shampoo is the worst shampoo in the history of time Btw you can refresh with that gel without adding any water

Wowwww i love your results with the gel! It looks so good! But beachy waves is my preferred look. Would to see an ecoslay washday!

Very interesting wash day, with both pros and cons. Overall this helps me to decide I likely won't try this brand. Thanks for continuing to do the one brand trials - so helpful! And love the day 2 outfit. It looked very YOU while still being different from your much loved t-shirt style.

Agreed the refresh saved the day 2 hair! Would like to add Purology to your wash day brand list. New to your channel and have learned a TON about my hair I never knew. Found out I'm a 2b-2c wavy girl so your demos are right what I'm needing. TY!!

Hey Courtney! I really enjoy watching your one brand wash days!! I'm curious if you've ever tried the Kenra products...especially the Allcurl line in particular?? I would love to see how they perform! I've been using the curl defining creme 5 (not part of the Allcurl line) and really like it!

Could you do a washday with Chi products? I’ve heard you like the Infra gel. I guess not all there products are CG approved but some are. I also appreciate that, at least the few I looked at, were gluten free. I know gluten isn’t absorbed by the skin, but if you wash upright like I do, product can run all over your face and you can be contaminated. I love your videos and shirts!

How would you feel to try the Unite Boing curl hair products? I love the defining curl cream but no idea how the other products perform. Have a good weekend and keep the series going they DO help a lot!

Courtney, I have learned SO MUCH from your channel since January 2 (the beginning of my wavy girl journey) and find your videos invaluable! I do have a couple of questions for you, though. The first is how do you keep your hair from tangling when you go from styling upside down/plopping to letting it down from the plop in order to style? I find that my hair will have amazing curl clumps, but they will literally be in CLUMPS. The second question is whether or not you find a difference/benefit between using a true SILK pillowcase vs a satin/silky pillow case.

I think your hair looks really pretty. What do you ask your hairdresser for please? Is it one length, some long layers and a bit of shaping around the face? Also, I really admire you for never getting your T-shirt wet when you wash your hair. If that was me, then mine would be soaking. Lol. Blessings from the United Kingdom. X

Wow! It looks great! Surprised you like the smell since you have sensitive allergies, the smell killed this brand for me. Oh well. Can you please do a video on the new Aveda Be Curly line that just launched? TIA!
@EverythingAndNothing089 ай бұрын
Yes, the smell was the worst for me. I don't even remember how the products performed for me because the scent was so off-putting.
@andromeda04489 ай бұрын
I am quite sensitive to scents, too, but I don't have a problem with the Boucleme products, I like how they smell (not to chemical) and the scent vanishes quite quickly. Aveda on the other hand... I can't stand.the smell - so overpowering, especially the pink (hydrating?) line. The only product I can use is the Be curly style prep.

Curious about the new drugstore brand V & Co. They have a specific Wavy Hair line but I haven't seen them come out with stylers.

So I’m ‘yet again’ going down the curly rabbit hole….I have a 2b/c - sometimes even a 3a, curl - fine, thick, porous. I really struggle to find the ideal products and had previously used the ISO Bouncy Crème, which I see is now discontinued (I still have some, which tells you how often I do this 😂). I read online that the Boucleme curl cream is similar, would you say it’s lightweight but still conditioning with a little hold? I have a gel I like, it’s just finding a replacement for the curl cream that my hair likes….😢
@julianamaninger72599 ай бұрын
Why would they formulate with sea salt in a shampoo? I get that it can help with curls but generally it’s in a styling product not a shampoo. Curious… 🤷🏻♀️
@cathyd59449 ай бұрын
I really like the Boucleme curl defining gel and super hold styler used together. It is a pricy brand but I find I only need a small amount of each. I don't love the shampoo and conditioner though. I would love to try their mousse and the new hairspray! Another brand I would love to see you do a video on is JSL Essentials. 😊

Wow Courtney 👌 💕 your refresh on day 2 turned out so beautiful 😍 I'm wondering 🤔 the Boucleme Curl Defining Gel is expensive. Do you personally think it is worth the money? I don't really have the financial freedom to spend a lot of money on my hair. But if it's that good and you think it's worth it, I'd actually like to try it. I hope you respond to my question and thank you in advance if you do. You are amazing, and I have learned so much from you❤

Why don't you blowdry your roots (ofc carefully to not mess up the curls) with your head upside down at the end when your hair is 90% dry, to get some volume at the roots? Then you let the rest airdry like usually. It's really the best way to get some nice fluff and it would show off your curls more if you had more volume.
@donnalayne23959 ай бұрын
I hate shampoo’s and conditioners that leave my hair how yours did while shampooing and conditioning. It’s not worth it to me because it causes way more hair to come out than necessary. Love you though ❤🥰Are you letting your hair grow back out?

I hope you understand that essential oils are NOT oils. The name is a bit misleading, since they aren't oils in the classic sense, and aren't essential in the same way essential amino acids are. They are hydrophobic, but unlike animal and vegetable oils, are not made of fatty acids.
