As a physio, we use the electic shock machines in two primary ways; To reduce pain and to increase the neurological sensory system to a muscle that has little/no neurological connection to the muscle. So basically in rehab after a nervous injury. It basically creates involuntary muscular contractions by sending electricity through the muscles the same way the brain would, so in theory you could use it to build muscle while chilling on the sofa

As a neurophysiology researcher I can tell you that you're not quite right with your explanation. Creating low intensity muscular contractions isn't really going to do a whole lot for building muscle in the same way that doing low intensity resistance training isn't going to do a whole lot for building muscle. It's incredibly unlikely this machine is delivering a high enough powered shock that it will actually be creating anywhere near a maximal muscle response. It can be used to improve neurological connection in the case of injury which causes a reduction in neural signalling along the corticospinal pathway but even then the research in that area in trained individuals is minor at best.

As a city level football team keeper. yup It's impossible to predict where the ball will go 90% of the time you just save with instincts, and the only thing you can train is to not close your eyes and have as large of a range possible. But still 60% of the goal is still wide open there you need defenders to keep that 60% covered
